3.1 Environmentally Sustainable Work Practices
a. The environmental sustainable work practices that can be implemented at Wantirna
School is students must be allowed to submit only soft copies in order to save the
environment and lower the usage of paper and ink of printers. However, if students
find it very necessary to submit the soft copy, they must be allowed to print only the
final copy after approval from the professor and by proofreading the content
(Murugesan, 2008)
b. The submission of the soft copies will save the paper and thus it will not create
pollution in the environment (Shen et al., 2011). On the other hand, if the university
makes it mandatory to submit the hard copy, the students must be allowed to print
only the final copy else repeated printing will deduct 1% of the mark each time. This
will save electricity usage and thus the electricity bill will also be lowered.
3.2 Current Practices
a. The usage level of the paper, printer ink and electricity are discussed below:

Electricity Bill- $2000 for Wantirna building
b. Each student is asked to print a hard copy of the participant manual and the
assessment booklet. The participant manual is 90 pages long and the assessment
booklet is 30 pages long. It has been found that as most of them carry out repeated

d. I will check how these tasks will be carried out by the allocated people and thus
provide them with ideas on handling the task. Moreover, if they want more
environment-friendly ways, I will assist them accordingly (Yusup et al., 2015).
3.5 Monitoring
a. The progress of the project can be monitored by checking the trial of each task. If the
trial is successful, specific individual’s in-charge of the task will be allotted to handle
the task (O'Rourke, 2003).
b. The results of the project will be communicated to the school principal as well as the
academic coordinator. This will be co-ordinated only when there will a reduction in
the wastage of paper, less consumption of energy and disposal of the correct wastes in
the correct place (Epstein & Roy, 2001). Moreover, this will be carried out only when
the above-mentioned actions will be under control within a time frame of maximum
of 1 month.
c. In order to seek feedback or suggestion on the project, it is my responsibility to carry
out a timely meeting with the faculty, academic co-ordinators as well as the class
monitor. The suggestions are to be collected and then consulted with the principal of
the school accordingly for the implementation of the feasible ideas (Marshall et al.,
2015).
d. The evaluation of the effectiveness and the suggestions provided by the co-
coordinators, faculty, class-monitor and the principal must be matched and thus
checked that whether it would be feasible to apply those ideas. On the other hand, it
should also be kept in mind that in reducing the expenses, the students should not be
the victims. Further, the opinions that are provided must be environment-friendly
