Strategy implementation
Strategy implementation can be defined as the process implemented by the managers of
an organization in order to put strategies ad plan into action, so that desired goal can be obtained.
The strategic plan refers to a written document that details the step and processes required to
reach plan goals along wit including feedback and progress reports for ensuring that the plan is
on track. In order to ensure that the implementation process is successful, the leader needs to
clarify their strategy by providing clear as well as conscience information in a way that an elicit
organizational commitment from staffs whose support is highly crucial for the strategic
implementation (Van der Kolk & Schokker, 2016). This can only take place through effective
communication through every organizational level by using several mediums for dispersing the
information to the staffs (Ahearne, Lam & Kraus, 2014).
In order to begin the implementation process, the questions that need to be considered by
the strategy makers are as follows:
1. Who would provide direction on the strategic plan that would provide the right skills and
competencies to support the plan?

direction?
4. How is everyone going to perform in order to fulfill the strategic plan?
Strategy-Culture Compatibility
It is really important to assess the strategy-culture compatibility during the implemention
of a new strategy. While culture is a highly crucial aspect, it can be considered as the originator
and thus the strategy follows. Culture can be defined as the value and behavior norms adopted
by a group of individual. It refers to a set of common feelings, beliefs and perceptions about the
value of the organization. A well defined and embedded culture reinforces work friendly
environment in the organization (Jahanian et al., 2015). The power of culture is enormous when
it comes to shape the performance of the employees of the Swedish Medical Center. Considering
the fact that the culture of the mentioned healthcare home is free from work place politics and
superior pressure, employee’s works in a work pressure free environment. The culture of the

et al., 2016). According to researchers, the well maintained work place culture of the
organization is one of the chief reasons behind the effective results obtained by the strategic
implementation (Jahanian et al., 2015). Thus, it can be clearly understood that in order to
successfully implement the strategy in the business, culture should be given high importance.

product, process or services (Pyzdek & Keller, 2014). The sigma represents the population

the same. Some of the benefits that can be experienced by the Swedish Medical Center are as

having dissatisfied consumers. Once the training is complete, the employees will be
trained enough to satisfy the consumers (Evans & Lindsay, 2014).

turn results in more efficient business.
3. Reduced cycle time: with the help of using Six Sigma, the mentioned organization will
gain the potential of setting up a team of experienced staffs of all levels within the
organization as well as from every functional department.
