The high consumption of sugar has increased the oral health problems in the children.
The high sugar content decrease the life span of the oral health. The oral health negatively effect
the health and can create the different types of non-communicable disease like cardiovascular
disease, obesity and diabetes. The main objective of this thesis is to increase the awareness and
provide the recommendation to the health professionals, educators and parents regarding the
proper take care of the oral health. The thesis has described the all possible impact and the cause
of oral health degradation in the children. The previous report of the various study has described
the different oral and dental problems of the children. The previous report has mentioned that the
children want to eat more sweet and chocolates and they faces so many problems of the dental
and oral. The given thesis has focused on the way how to reduce the in taking of the high amount
of sugar by the children. In this research the different qualitative and quantitive methods are uses
for describing the impact of the sugar content on the oral health of the children. The qualitative
method which has used in this research includes the evidence based different strategies to
categories the different health consequence of the oral health by meta analysis process. The
qualitative analysis of this research has described the dental caries and oral health problem as per
the sugar content. The research has also analysed the quantitative methods which is based on the
statical data of the clinical strategies. The research has paid the more attention on the impact of
oral health on the obesity and the diabetes. The connection of the oral disease and diet has been
also analysed by the quantitive data of the different statics. The hypothesis the research has

INTRODUCTION
The oral health can be describe as the health which is related to the gums, teeth and
overall facial systems. The dental caries, tooth decay is the non communicable disease and this
disease is spreading more in the children because of consumption of the more amount of
chocolates, sweets and other sugar content (Hartwig Romano, and Azevedo, 2019). The dental
caries arises in the children due to the many factors. The main factor of the dental and oral
health problems is because of the in taking of the high sugar content. The high sugar content
increased the cariogenic bacteria which increase the chance of tooth decay, pain and
inflammation in the oral part. The normal level of the glucose in the saliva is 0.5 to 1.00 mg in
100 ml of the saliva but level of sugar has increased in the saliva by taking of the more sugar
content (Wang and et. al., 2019). The high sugar in the saliva increase the growth of the
microorganism in the mouth and it cause dental caries. The high intake of the sugar content by
the children arises the different kinds of dental caries. The dental caries of the children has been
categorised in the smooth cavities, root cavities and the pit and fissure cavities. The smooth
cavities are developed in the smooth area of the teeth because of not proper brushing and
cleaning of the teeth. The cavities on the roots develop on the lower part of the teeth while pit
and fissure cavities occurs on the those surface of teeth which help in the chewing process. The
pit and fissures cavities has developed due to the not proper chewing the foods. The less chewed
food has large amount of carbohydrates amount which can not be solubilised by the various
enzymes in the mouths (Nichol Holle, and An, 2018). The foods are not solubilised in the mouth
which increase the bacterial attack on the mouth and increase the oral pain and also inflammation
on the mouth and facial area.
The milk teeth have large number of pulp as well as the the teeth are less regular. The
enamel and dentine do not have high mineral content so the sugar content easily deteriorates the
teeth and enamel parts. The oral health problems has increased nowadays because of negligence
of the diet by the peoples (Tong and et. al., 2018). Most of the peoples are affected with the
dental problems but the children and the adolescent are at the more risk. The dental caries is the
most prevalent disease as per the study of the Global Burden of the disease study. Almost the
world's half population has affected with the dental problems. The dental caries not only decay
