Requirement Analysis and modeling is one of the most important required skill for the business
analyst. In doing the requirement analysis the understanding of the business requirements is done
firstly then the decomposition of the requirements , later the categorization of the requirements
and at the end the modeling of the requirements is performed. The requirement analysis is very
important as it helps in understanding the main requirements of the application area according to
the business process point of view. Here in this report the description of the requirement analysis
of the online ticketing system will be presented . Here the functional and non –functional
requirements for the proposed software application will be presented. The main purpose of this
document will be support the developers to understand the main requirements of the proposed
software application and can work on it . Further the report will present the details of the Scope
of the proposed project along with the user stories and system interface diagrams .

1.0 Introduction
The main objective of the requirement analysis and modeling is to present the details of the
requirements in the form of expectations that a user expects from the application. Requirement
analysis involves all the stages that are required to identify the stakeholder needs from the
proposed system. In the requirement analysis the requirements are analyzed , documented ,
implementable presented , measured , tested , traceable and able to manage the software
requirements(Charles G. Cobb, 2011).
1.1 Purpose
The main purpose of this document is to present the requirement analysis and modeling for the
online ticketing system. The main functional and non functional requirements according to the
users and other stakeholder’s point of view will be presented.
1.2 Data Collection
Here the data is collected through the various requirement analysis data collection methods such
as interviews , feed- back form collected through various users as well the data is collected by
self observation and analysis of similar projects to understand the main requirements of the
system(Alan. D, Barbara .H.W, Roberta M. R, 2010)
2.0 Problem Statement
Here in our assignment 1 we had presented the two key problems faced by the Indyflix Movies
and rental management system is a business that aims at specializing movie sales and loans.
 Ticket for movie
 People prefer to see movies from home instead of renting them.
The above mentioned problems are raising many problems in the business expansion of the
company. The organization is considering various methods through which the customers can be
motivated to buy tickets from their company and also how to give justification of the benefits of
the viewing the moving at the hall rather than viewing it at home . Another issue which

company requires to identify is various innovative techniques to encourage the users to rent the
movie instead of buying as it will save their money both in terms of main cost of movie and also
saving the money of managing them. The main requirement of the organization is to develop the
effective methods for attracting the customers for renting and watching the movie from their
company. Along with this the organization is also considering various methods for providing the
innovative methods for providing the good service to its customers too. Another focus area is
how can technology be integrated in achieving this goal (Vinod .K, S. Srivasan, 2011).According
to study the main problem areas required to be focused on the following areas-
 Developing the innovative ways for increasing the sales of the ticket.
 Focusing on developing the new methods for providing the better facilities to the
customers.
 The main requirement of the organization is to develop the effective methods for
attracting the customers for renting and watching the movie from their company.
 company requires to identify is various innovative techniques to encourage the users to
rent the movie instead of buying as it will save their money both in terms of main cost of
movie and also saving the money of managing them.
