Chosen Company- Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation (Ironbark).
Profile of the organization including mission and vision.
Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation (Ironbark) is a leading developmental bank that caters to
the service of urban, regional and remote community that deliver its service in the Darwin City
(Lukaszyk et al. 2018). It is recognized as one of the founding entities towards the social service,
which is referred to the people who are in requirement. It is originally established in the month of
June in the year 2000. It deals with extensive consultation and deals with the indigenous
communities. It comprises of the Larrakia people and stolen generation where the children of the
community who are removed from their families and they are taken in the Darwin institute. In
the year 2014 the organization has chosen to support the government by ceasing an Incorporated
Association and attained the title of Association under the CATS Act (Boys, C., 2015).
The vision of the company is to improve the lives and aim to transform the Aboriginal
communities which tailors the development of the employee and attain to economic development
(Silcock et al, 2015). The mission of the organization is referred to as supporting the Aboriginal
communities to become self managing, to provide the helping hand and improve the social form
and advanced community growth and improvement, to promote education, training, business
opportunity and employment to the individual (Moisan et al, 2016).
Organization structure and presence (local and international)
The organization is recognized throughout the continent, Australia and is known for its
vast variety of care that it caters to (Clark 2014). The company provides its assistance in the area
of pastoral and spiritual support, promotes children safety, provides nutritious balanced food,

laundry services, provides house care assistance to the senior, retirement living facility and assist
in family, parenting and youth support (Simpson 2016). The structure of the organization is
recognized and respected with the traditional owners and is working with association to Teabba,
Darilia Dilba and Yilli Housing.there is a multi cultural memorial garden that is acknowledged
by Kerry White. The structure of the business caters to the following services such as community
services, art and culture, employment and economic services (Lukaszyk 2017). The program and
services are improving the lives and transforming the opportunity of the participants in the
society (UK 2014). The organization aims to connect the communities, build up the skills,
strengthens the relationship and networking and provide the information through employment.
The organization engages the employee and the other unemployed workers to seek jobs and work
in partnership basis with the local community in the area of Darwin and transforms the eyesore
into appealing personal involvement of the Memorial garden the remembers the past value of the
various features provided by the company (Ivers et al. 2018).

SWOT Analysis
The SWOT analysis can be defined as the term strength, weakness, opportunity and
threat analysis of a particular framework to indentify the internal and external factors, which can
be viable and creates an impact on the project, place, product and person (Grant 2016). The
SWOT analysis is used by the business organization to develop a strong business strategy by
formularizing the business strength and weakness as well as the opportunity and threat that the
business faces in the marketplace (Ng et al. 2013) This analysis is done so that the company can
overcome its shortcoming during its session in the marketplace and safeguards the business to
meet its deficiencies in the long run. The SWOT prepares analysis discussed below for Ironbark
Aboriginal Corporation (Ironbark) has been developed after its success and failure in the market.
Strength- the strength of the organization is based on the cost of operation which it facilitates as
a health care facility. The strength of this organization is based on the training facilities and the
community that benefits from pruning from then trees. The Humpty Doo Primary School’ s
garden cater to growing of Carpentaria Palms which had stopped the soil from erosion
(Kayombo 2013). As a result of practicing gardening the area of the school is being utilized. The
government has funded for the “Grow to Learn” program that helps the organization to transform
the Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation garden to area of beauty and meaningful for the school and
its students(Costello 2015). Some of the other strengths of the company are availability of
support services, financial sustainability, profile of age care organizations, property development
expertise and facilitating with the opportunity of tenancy management experience (Frank 2017).
Weakness- the weakness of the organization is analyzed by the entry of its rival and competitive
firm in the economy (Hall 2017). This is considered as one of the primary issue that the company
is facing in the recent times. It restricts the organization to move forward in the long run of its

operation in the marketplace. After these weakness are analyzed it has built much stronger
functioning system to run its business. The weakness of the organization was previously
analyzed in the field of “Community Housing” that was expertise on board, there was a difficulty
in understanding the new legislation that was formularized and in the innovative technique the
registration board and separation of housing inculcated that (Angell et al, 2018).
Opportunity- the opportunity of the service in provision of granting opportunity to work facility
is operated on a higher note. It is essential to increase the number of employees in the
organization so that there can be more number of people who can be assisted in the schooling
facility. Operators of the care facility can also aggressively increase the size of the company by
targeting similar business in the economy.
Threat- It is considered as a primary operational risk that the business faces with the
existence of the competitive world. With the existence of the health care facility that the business
aims to provide it faces a primary threat to reduce the reimbursement schedules from the private
insurance and publicly sponsored health care system (Wallis 2013). With the existence of the

The purpose of the multiple regulatory requirements, sometimes the initiatives may be regarded
as the conservatives rather than innovative strategy (Public Relation), the funding system from

Recommendations and conclusion
The positive side comprise of the available supports from the different channels and the
financial aid that is given from different firms of the same company (Castor et al, 2016). The
organization should work more on its assistance towards the helping the small children of the
community so that there is reduction of the literacy rate and the teenaged children gets the
opportunity of getting involved in the jobs. Hence, it can be concluded that the organization is
facilitating a social work that is viewed as a benefit for the society. It can be recommended for
the company that the organization should maintain and believe in its strength because the market
always has two sides that is the negative and the positive side (Hunter 2016)
