Reflection
Introduction
Reflective writing is the strong tool for the self assessment
and to increase the possibilities of improvement for own
personal and professional development. The present
artefact is the reflection using the SWOT analysis which
further includes the reflection of my strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats using Gibbs model.

Gibbs model
It is the reflective writing cycle that helps a
person by giving certain framework or structure to
demonstrate the learning experience in particular
situation. This reflective framework is cyclic in nature
which will be useful for me in order to have regular and
consistent learning and improvement experience. The
model covers the six stages that are discussed below:
Description
This reflection is my experience as the intern for the one
month in the multinational organization. As the
management student I was required to gain work place
training and experience for one month in my area of
specialization. I was the HR assistant and was asked to
assist senior HR manager and perform duties related
workforce of company. The whole experience was like
roller coaster full of opportunities and challenges.
Feelings
Before joining this workplace
as an intern I was highly
nervous and afraid as this was
my first experience in the
corporate world. While going
first time into the place I was
high of emotions and highly
confused to reach my right
place of working. The people
at the were seemed good and
welcoming towards me as a
new intern where helpful to
guide towards the place.
Evaluation
After the effective evaluation of the whole
situation by performing SWOT analysis I was able
to analyze the positive aspects of this experience. I
evaluated that communication and team working
skills remained my key strength during the entire
internship. But, during the same time there was
negative aspect of this internship which showcased
my weaknesses i.e. lack of confidence and in
capability as a leader due to inefficient leadership
skills.
Conclusion
From the above analysis it is concluded that SWOT
analysis is the effective tool for me to analyze my
overall experience in working at MNC. Also the
tool guided me better in analyzing my skill set while
approaching towards my personal and professional
goals.
Action
On the basis of the above considerations of my
personal SWOT analysis, suitable actions can be
taken into consideration. I have marked practicing
management activities while being engaged in
personal life tasks. Furthermore, lack of confidence
was also determined as one of my weakness for
which I will participate in various individual
activities to overcome this weakness. However, in
light of the fact that threats could be difficult to
avoidance some basic prevention techniques can be
adopted that will direct the productive flow of
operations in my career goal objective.

Analysis

I have analyzed that I have also
gained some major
opportunities during the
internship as the HR assistant.
I got a chance to improve my
decision making and
organizational skills which are
very useful me in future career
growth. With this there was a
threat to my own skills and
capabilities as I recognized my
incapability of performing
multiple tasks at single time
and also I have lack of
technical knowledge and as the
technological advancements
are at peak which is huge
threat for me as the intern to
show my skills and
capabilities.
