meant for transforming the transportation for both on the road and off the road. The main aim
of the study is to carry out a SWOT analysis of UBCO to see if it has the internal capabilities
to become a sustainable business.
The major internal strength of the company is that ever since its introduction it has
considered technology as an important part of their internal strategies. The company is
engaged in designing and distributing portable supplies and utility electrical vehicle for
improving the customers on the road and off the road experiences. UBCO has its UEV
digitally connected and therefore the company is being able to provide homologated and
compliant vehicles (Ubco Bikes, 2019). The company’s motorbike called UBCO 2*2 is
aimed at providing a better solutions for the environmental problems by reducing the noise
and pollution that is the gas that is released into the environment. The lithium-ion battery of
the bike helps to provide fuel to the bike and it can also be used to charge the phones and it
also requires low maintenance. This internal ability of the company of providing digitally and
technologically upgraded products can provide sustainability to the company. The
opportunities for the company lies towards the tech savvy adults of the market segment and
also for customers who are conscious about the impacts of the products on the environment
(Park, 2016). All the people who have to travel for their work to different places are the ones
who prefer these bikes because they can charge their phones with the help of their bike and
since the battery fuels the bike so these people can travel freely without wasting their time.
Therefore the customers who are a part of the micro environment can be benefited with the
help of the company. The opportunity in the macro environment is that the company will
meet the socio-cultural needs because it aims at reducing the noise and air pollution by

removing the emissions of gas. The company can also take advantage of technological
changes in the environment because the company is tech company so it can inculcate the
technological changes easily and at a faster rate. The major weakness of the company is that
it is difficult to replace the battery and the efficient operations of the bike is dependent upon
the effectiveness of the battery. It will also add additional cost to the buyers in case of
replacing the battery. The threats existent in the macro environment is that if any political
changes are brought that affects the company’s capability of importing goods then they will
have a problem (Dewachter et al., 2015). If some major technological changes takes place in
the country then the company can be affected.
From the above discussion it can be concluded that UBCO can become sustainable
through its internal strengths provided it is ready for changes in technology and other factors.
The company also focuses on major reducing the impact on the environment that makes it
socially acceptable.
