INTRODUCTION
SWOT analysis refers to as strategic planning techniques conducted by person or
individual in order to identify the strength, weaknesses, opportunity and threat. By doing so
improvement tactics can be framed accordingly. This helps in working on the weak area so that
best results can be provided as compare to the others (Abdel-Basset and Smarandache, 2018).
As individual SWOT analysis should be done in order to understand own or self strengths,
weaknesses, opportunity and threats. By identifying the threat and leakinesses distinguish
methods need to be developed for the enhancement with the phase of tine. As I performed
SWOT analysis on my selfed skills I discovered that I lack in certain skills like, communication
skills, critically thinking skills, decision-making skill and leadership skills. I selected them as my
loop holes because at the time of job interviewing I faced many problems as I lack behind in this
skills. I get rejected due to my weak communication skills . Directly or indirectly this skills are
influencing mu career graph at a tremendous scale. Through SWOT analysis is came across mu
weak skills so that I can improve my career in the up-coming years. This the best way to identify
the loop holes in within. Along with this it provides a fair chance to improve own skills with the
phase of time.
Own weaknesses/threat
SWOT analysis has helped to discover my self weaknesses by which I am able to work on them
as they assist me in uplifting my career growth. My weak skills are illustrated below:
Communication skills: According to the swot analysis I identified that I lack behind in
communication n skills and are greatly impacting my career graph in the competitive world
(Maulina and Raharja, 2018). In the era of globalization where everything is changing
tremendously it is every essential to have effective and fluent communication skill within. As an
individual having perfection and good command in communication is a plus point in the career
graph. By this positive impression is build in the eyes of the other person. Person good in
communication skill can easily transfer their idea and knowledge to their teammates clearly
without mis-interpretation. This leads to productive results as compare to competitors. However,
it will also help me top get promotion in the career graph which will add value to my carrier over
the years. As I lack in communication skill I am unable to express my idea properly to the next
individual at the time of interview due to which I get rejected in the initial stage (Adem and

Dağdeviren, 2018). Though I carry enough knowledge but still I am incapable to prove myself
because of weak communication skills. In order to improve this skills I am watching online you
tube video on regular basis and are continuously observing other people how they communicate
with other person. So as to upgrade my own communication skill.
Decision-making skills: I came across my another weak area with the help of Swot
analysis which is performed based on my self skills. I figure out that I personally lack behind in
decision making skills in adverse condition which turns out to be unproductive for me in my
career growth. This particular loop hole restrict me to give vest decision at the time of adverse
condition which affected my work tremendously. I am able to prove myself in organization as I
am ineffective in taking best and appropriate decision (Vigna and Serra, 2018). This results in
creating negative image in the eyes of the top level management and are has bought a question
mark on my career. As firm are working with diverse culture under one roof it is mandatory to
have decision-making skill. Lacking behind this skills is giving birth to many conflicts, issues,
unproductive results and so on. Due to which not only may own career growth is on stake but
organization reputation is on stake. In order to get command in this skill I am spending quality
time with seniors and mangers and are analysing how they take decision in every small and big
suitition confidently. Additionally, this act is raising my decision making skills gradually with
the phase of time.
Leadership skills: In order to grow in the career it is very important to have leadership
skill in oneself (Esteves and Garrido, 2018). Through Swot analysis is came across that I lack in
leadership skill and got the chance to upgrade my this loop hole in the right timer. As this is my
initial stage in the organization so I can work on this skill in order to raise the level of career
graph in positive manner. Person having this skills is able to tackle their teammates easily and
motivate them to perform effectively and efficiently to meet the set goals and objectives in the
set time span. In the ear of diverse culture it is mandatory to have leadership skills in order to
guide and support staff members to work together towards the accomplishment of common goal
of the business. As I lack behind in leadership skill I am unable to handle my group members
properly which results in unsatisfactory outcomes that created negative image. It directly or
indirectly affected by career graph. In order to improve this skill I am attending personality
development class on regular basis. As well as keep eye on other seniors and leaders how they

are guiding and supporting their team mates to perform better as compare to rivalry
(Niranjanamurthy and Jagannatha, 2018).
CONCLUSION
From the above it can be concluded that swot analysis help us to better understand self
weaknesses and threat easily. With the help of SWOT analysis is identified my weak skills such
as, communication skills, decision-making skill and leadership skills. Now I am able to work on
this skills in order to upgrade my career graph in the open market place. It will additionally
benefit to me as this skills are improving gradually and I will be able to provide productive
results to the organization. It has become possible because of Swot analysis is performed based
on my own skills. It made me realize which are strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threat.
Also, it has highlighted the loop holes in which I have to work continuously in order to succeed
in the mu careerer in the up-coming years (Leiber and Harvey, 2018.). Numerous ways are
adopted by me to upgrade my weak skills as in the coming time frame the same skills will be
turned as the biggest threat for me . I will be unable to overcome them and career graph will
come to an end which will be the biggest loss in my life. With help of online video, by attending
seminars, observing other people gestures and way of communication, spending time with
seniors and so on are the ways by which I am trying to nourish my skill on daily basis.
