western Sydney airport to the western Sydney aerotropolis. The main aim of the government
is to provide a rail connection. The project will help the users in fast and frequent transport. It
will be easy for the customers to communicate from one place to another at a much faster rate
(Baker & Ruming, 2015). The project will help in providing connection between the
residential areas with the different job hubs. The project is rapidly developing over a
continuous period of time. The project will help in shaping the Western Sydney and will help
in its growth. The project will serve as an opportunity that cannot be missed by the Sydney
government. The project will give opportunities to drive the jobs and will lead to the growth
of the Western Sydney. The project will also help in the mix development of the Sydney,
with the development in the commercial field, residential and retail sector. The new metro
line will help in establishing an efficient transport system. The project establishes an
automatic transport system in the region of Western Sydney. The project will help in the
progress of the land in and around the region where the metro station will be build. The
project will help in supporting almost 28,000 people directly and indirectly by the year 2031
(Och et al., 2017). However the project will help in the rapid growth of the Western Sydney.

The project is economically beneficial for the western Sydney as it provides the total
economic benefits of $62,120 million. The project is estimated to have a benefit cost ratio of
1.3 which is based upon the benefits related to the transports (Fensham, 2015). The project
helps in widening the economic benefits as it includes the benefits related to the increase in
the productivity due to the change in the land use pattern. It also helps in providing the

economic benefit related to the transport. The value of the economic benefit is equivalent to
$9.118 million in comparison to the present value. The project helps in providing in
establishing a long term development for the Sydney rail network. It also helps in increasing
the capacity of the rail network by 60 percent (James, 2016). It helped in the economy by
providing employment to around 6,233 odd workers at the time of constructions. It gave an
additional job to near about 44,223 workers. It helped in decreasing the unemployment rate.
The two main source of the direct employment related to the project was at the time of
construction and phased expansion. The infrastructure of the Australia will help in gaining a
positive impact upon the economic viability of the project. There are certain key economic
benefits related with the project. With the use of land the project gives an economic benefit of
$1,157 million. Wider the economic benefits related to the project more is the productivity
