Introduction
The conflicts that are going on in Syria are defined as a multiple leveled struggle that includes
various individuals and focuses. Structured features that are there from the inside of the nation
has produced the conflicts when the globalized flow of the Arab Spring that did their investment
in the frustrating actions of multiple parts of the social areas of Syria. The straight forwarded
oppression that was done by the group that ignited the heavily spread conflicts, diluting the light
earlier orders. In a troubled zone such as the Arabs, with areal and national individuals
distributing multiple focuses, this unstable behavior produced the situations for outside molding,
as states and non-stated individuals have observed in Syrian Grinds the grounds for their virtual

Aim
The main of this document is to make the learner understand the current situation in Syria and to
determine the scope resolutions that improve the current situation that is post-civil war phase.
This document basically focuses on determining the main causes of the situation that is there in
Syria, the elements that participate in the whole situation, the recommendations that were made
in the past in order to improve the situation and the reasons for their failure. The current
resolution is given and the reasons why they are better than the earlier ones. In the course of this
report, the whole situation of the Syria Conflicts is discussed. After going through this report a
learner would be having basic information about the whole situation.

A)Origin and principal causes of the conflict
Syrian Crisis is so widely spread in the Syrian and nearing countries affecting almost every part
of the country and also given so many names like Syrian Uprising or Syrian Civil War. The war
is still ongoing and one of the examples of armed conflict which is happening between the
Ba’ath government and the group against it. Syrian armed war has been the part of Arab Spring,
Arab Winter and it was also present in the cold war II with the Iraq conflict. The conflict began
on March 15 in the year 2011 completing 8 years of conflict till date and there is no hope of
conflict to settle down till now. The major cause of conflict aroused when the Bashar al-Assad
became President and forces demanded their resignation. The fight is mainly between Shia
government and Sunni Muslims forming the group of rebellion.
During the initial time period of the year 2011, a successful Arab Spring broke out in which
economic & social protested in Egypt and Turkey against the president and got success in
breaking down the president kingdom. This is the light of hope which Pro-democracy activities
of Syrian saw. 15 children from Deraa who made graffiti inspired by the Arab Spring were
arrested. These children faced acute torture which led to the death of one child. The arrest of
these children faced many acquisitions and (Selby, et.al. 2017) demanded the freedom of 14
children but the government responded with severe anger by arresting, torturing and killing the
protesters who raised the voice which in return ignited hate towards the president and demanded
the resignation of the president. The war further expanded when Bashar al-Assad refused to
resign and finally the conflict aroused between the Assad regime and the opposition demanding
his resignation. The war expanded due to many countries got involved in the. July 2011 marks
the formation of the Free Syrian Army consisting of the military men as one of the rebel group
against the existing Assad rule aiming to dethrone the government. 2011 protest saw the
sectarian division dividing Sunni and Shia members. The war further broke out when foreign
countries like Iran and Iraq has supported the action of Assad while many Sunni supporter
countries also came to rebel against the country like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, turkey and many more.
It was reported that Syrian citizen was not in favour of his rule because of lack of freedom and
the basic condition of living in the country. Mr. Assad has inherited the presidency from his
father Hafez after he died in the year 2000. Assad presidency has seen vast unemployment,

corruption, torturing political leaders, low economy and devastating living condition. The biggest
group of rebel formed was the Free Syrian Army (FSA) which saw the joining of many rebel
groups. 2016 Syrian Army force got controlled over the city Aleppo which has marked the
greatest victory of the Assad regime. The powerful group ISIL in 2013 through its brutal actions
controlled the part of eastern and northern Syria. In 2018, forces of Assad have gained control
over the biggest cities of countries.

B) Direct and Indirect participant in the conflict
The total population of territory were estimated to be around 19 lakhs consisting of Arab, Kurd,
Alawite, Christian, Muslim, Levantine, Druze, Ismaili, Imami, Nusairi, Assyrian and Jewish
have been involved in the fight somehow.
The main group fighting the war is Kurdish, ISIS, rebellion and Assad regime. The conflict
involved so many participant which are: the Syrian Arab Republic controlled by Bashar al-
Assad, President, Free Syrian Army, Salafi Jihadist, al- Nusra Front, jabhat Fateh al-Sham,
Syrian Democratic force (SDF) consisting of Kurdish – Arab, ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the
Levant), Syrian Salvation government, Hezbollah, Iran, United Kingdom, United States, Turkey,
Russia, France, Saudi Arabia and Israel which are directly or indirectly involved in the conflict.
The Syrian governments were supported by the country (Carpenter, 2013) like Russia, Iran,
Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. Iran has helped the Syrian government by providing troops and
invested billions. Thousands of Iran military men were trained and armed to help the government
of Syrian with the collaboration with Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan. Russia is the major
contributor to the conflict and helped Mr. President of Syria by launching air strikes in 2015
killing civilians.
Saudi Arabia and Qatar have helped the activist by providing the financial and weapon facility to
counter the government. France, United States and United Kingdoms favoured the rebels to bring
the territory back in the hands of Syrian Democratic Forces and helped them by launching air
strikes in Syria in 2015. Turkey has given its major support to the rebellion party conducting
airstrikes and supporting the group since 2016 and managed to acquire the large part of
northwestern Syria. Israel has particularly conducted airstrikes to cool down the group of
Hezbollah and the Iranian military force.
Around four lakh and seventy thousand people are killed and more than one million were
affected by the war and many in millions have to leave the country. International organizations
have opposed both the conflicting parties and the involving countries for violating human rights
and using the illegal method of fighting. Various peace initiatives, standards and policies were
conducted to cool down the fight. The half of Syrian people have been fled to neighbouring

Jordan and turkey seeking for the shelter. But the (Sorenson, 2016) conflict has caused an unrest
peace in the territory from 2011 and no hope is seen By the latest report around 12 million need
the assistance, around the 1 million people are living in the area which is hard to reach. The
conflict has destroyed the whole map and condition of the territory and making an impossible
place to live in. An immediate political solution is needed to bring the situation under control but
the Geneva II peace treaty brought very little progress as President has refused to settle with the
rebelling party.
The war is still ongoing a devastated the entire nation which began in 2011killing millions of
innocent people and making people suffer and in trouble. The main question which arises as of
seeing today's condition of Syria is Will ever the war is going to end or not?

C) Its attempted resolution, and the nature of the conflict resolution
process
For the short-termed rest that is a must require for the Syrian refugees and war victims, It is
much needed for the communities to make external assistance through international cooperation
their central attention, this in various ways, would be having to be given by outside firms as well
as the institutions in a form of education program and study research. The issues that may arise
in this process may be is the creation of the capabilities among the victims for the teachers and
masters to support their training of educational features like physics and information technology,
with the main attention on STEM approach, ensuring the employees of the futuristic times have
the features to communicate and perform the verbal tasks with ease in order to be incompetence
in the latest working field. As a free country for the recovery of all the physical and the
economic loss, we must therefore do something over the initiative to create a new generation of
stronger than ever people of Syria who would then be called as the employees of a company that
would be a known global industries by then and who would be having the skillset, compassion
and understanding the way in which the big problems are needed to be addressed (Keeffe, 2017).
The academic situation of Syria was also sent in exile and so was the the knowledge base of the
nation Syria in the United States and European Nations must be included in order to going to
Syria and the making their contribution to architecting the needed important juk of the
individuals of the trainers to ignite the fires by the usage of their global understanding, point of
view, perceptions and competencies that have been induced to them due to their global travelling
around the world, training and study base (Keeffe, 2017).
The governmental organizations that are situated in the nation of Israel have decided to pay an
extra attentiveness to its safety due to the ongoing of the issues. The national safety of the nation

girls trafficking, begging of a child, smuggling of children is generated during the civil war in the
Syrian (Ciro et al., 2017).

the Syrian public (Nakeyar et al., 2016).
