Question-1
Scenario-1
Network Funtime Company is an organization that works within the field of IT for
building of open source software. The company currently has 100 employees approximately.
However, the first scenario that can be considered to be a problem with the company is that
the HR buys a new laptop every time someone is hired for the company (Schwalbe 2015). In
this regard, it can be said that the company should have a collaboration with an electronic
gadgets supply. As a result of this, the company can provision the organization with the
required amount of laptops on credit and get the money after some time when the
organization generates revenue with the help of utilizing the new employees.
Next, the HR has no idea regarding the latest hardware and software that need to be
installed on the laptops (Mohamad et al. 2017). Hence, the company should have a separate
IT department which will look after this and will provision all the employees with the latest
software to work efficiently rather than entrusting individual employees with different
models of laptop and cheaper software configuration.
In addition to this, the company should maintain special encryption services as well as
databases on the cloud for maintaining the passwords belonging to the individual employees
as a future prospect for having a backup of passwords in case the employees lose their
passwords. Lastly, the IT department that shall be built within the organization should take
the required responsibility of making sure that the new employees can get done with the login
properly.

Question-2
Scenario-2
Firstly, W.D Widgets being an organization that works particularly upon selling
widgets. However, the primary crisis that the company faces is of provisioning the new
employees with the hardware that is required to work. The company orders the required
amount of hardware from the vendor when the recruitment is done which consumes a lot of
time and hampers the production of the company (Anwar, Masrek and Sani 2018). Hence, to
prevent such crises, the company should have adequate amount of systems or hardware in
order to allocate them to the new employees after a recruitment procedure. Following this, on
a primary basis some of the employees need specific applications to work with. In such cases,
the vendor should be instructed to already install the applications that might be required in
accordance to the newer employees getting recruited to the organization for work. Operating
system of the organization should also be variable according to the needs of the clients
meaning that they should start working upon other operating systems such as Linux apart
from windows that is already present.
In addition to this, all of the data belonging to the user is kept on a local server. This
refers to the fact that there is no backup provisioned to the data of the organization (Freitas,
Monteiro and Costa 2018). Hence, in order to get rid of such situations where the data of the
company can get lost, the company should start implementing cloud solutions and store all of
their data up there for future references.

4SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
Dewgood is a non-profit company that has the inclusion of 50 employees. However,
situations where new recruitments are made the company gathers and buys the required
amount of hardware from a physical store on the day the employee joins the company.
However, this consumes time and can hamper the production of the company (Shibambu and
Ditsa 2017). As a mitigation technique to this, the company should keep an adequate amount
of new computer for the new employees and pay the price of it to the store later on in
instalments when the required amount of revenue is generated.
The company is in possession of a single server for the carrying out the multiple
services. In addition to this, none of the details belonging to employees who have left is
updated on the windows directory. As a result of this, there might be situations where
confusion regarding an employee who has already left might occur.
The company makes use of a ticketing system for handling the internal as well as the
external requests for the company as a result of which the employees need to visit the IT
department for help. However, this can be avoided by provisioning the employees with a
training program regarding the proper usage of the ticketing system.
In addition to this, all of the information is backed up on a disk and carried by the IT
individual. This can potentially lead to a situation where the disk might get lost resulting in
the loss of all the data that belongs to the company (Cardoso, Moreira and Escudero 2018).
As a mitigation technique for this, the company should start using cloud solutions to store all
the related data that belongs to the company and retrieve the necessary as and when required
by the employees on a regular basis.
