INTRODUCTION
Self reflection is that capacity of a human to exercise introspection and the willingness to
learn more about their own nature and purpose (Duckworth, 2019). Therefore, it is also related
to philosophy of consciousness and the topic of awareness, the philosophy of mind as well.
While on the other hand, career action plan is the a detailed method that outlines the action that
needed to reach the defined goals. Further it is also refereed as a sequence of steps which must
be taken to perform the activities well. In the same way, report will be about the requirements for
a career in the system administrator and the job is to make sure that all the related computer
system and services are keep working. For this report, I choose the job profile as a system
administrator who manages with the physical server and system that found inside organization's
premises.
The report will review the personal analysis by using SWOT analysis in order to
determine the strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Further, report also develop career
action plan in order to overcome the weaknesses and then present CV and LinkedIn profile as
well.
Personal Analysis
Personal analysis means to evaluate my current skills and abilities and weaknesses.,
opportunities and threats. It is quite necessary to identify own skills and competencies and for
that reason, there is a need to use SWOT analysis (Ramli and Hernald, 2019). It is the model that
helps to determine own capabilities and weaknesses, that helps to lead towards to achieve the
goals in near future.

From the above it has been realized that for personal and professional development, there
is a need to more focus on communication skills and confidence because for the system
administrator it is quite necessary for having such skills. These skills help to ensure that IT
provides the maximum business value. Apart from this, the next area of development is
organizing and managing skills, it is so because having effective managing skills will help to
manages the entire work in effective way and this will further leads to saves the time and also
reduce stress as well (Liao, Ashiq and Guzide, 2019).
Apart from this, another area of improvement is on time management skills which is
consider one of the most important skills. It is so because it allow to attain more in shorter period
that further leads to more free time and also takes an leverage of learning opportunities and lower

down the stress. It not only help in professional life but it also benefit to personal life as well.
And last is to gain the knowledge of security implementation in which entire IT system is based.
Therefore, if these areas are improved then it will help me to get better future opportunities and
increases my knowledge as well
Career Action Plan
It is the structure planning and an active management plan that outlines the actions that
are needed to reach defined goals in defined time. Further, it is the sequence of steps that must be
taken in order to perform the activities in well mannered. As through SWOT analysis, I identify
weaknesses which needs to be overcome through career action plan which is as mentioned
below:
Short term goals: it should be attain with next 12 months and these goals are confidence,
communication skills, time management skills.
Long term Goals: this goal attain from 2 years onwards and these goals are organizing
and management skills, training regarding security implementation.

CONCLUSION
By suing Kolbs' reflective model, the overall experience is describe in four different
stages which are as mentioned below:
Concrete Experience: The overall experience of this project is quite good such that I
determine my strength and weaknesses through this. Even I also realized that those weaknesses
can be easily overcome by using career action plan. Through the project I also enhance my
research skills and increases my current knowledge. Thus my overall experience is better
because of learning new things (Wallace, 2019).
Reflective Observation of new experience: Through this, I observe my strength and
weaknesses in which I come to know there is a need to enhance communication skills because
my entire job profile is based upon this. Apart from this, through the project, I come to realized
that I also face some challenges during the study such that as I am lack of confident I am not
present it is better way and this gives me new experience for conducting my future projects.
Abstract Conceptualization: from the above, it has been realized that I enhance mu
research skills and this will also help me in future project. Further I also analysed that my

knowledge regarding IT field is also increases which is quite necessary (Kempen and Kruger,
2019). It is so because for a System Administrator, it is quite necessary to have IT knowledge.
Further, I also realized that this knowledge will help to provide new experience for my future
projects which will be done in more better way.
Active Experimentation: In this, the overall project helps to collect new ideas and
enhance my actual knowledge regarding IT sector and current skills as well. Further, I also learn
that how to improve the current weaknesses in better way with defined time management, so that
it will help me in my future career options. Moreover, I also realized that for an IT field there is a
need to have all technical and IT knowledge so that it will help to achieve further career
opportunities as well.
