sales manager who manages sales representatives. In understanding this case study, it will be
good for one to understand clearly the concepts and principals of the system analysis and the
design (Dennis, Wixom and Tegarden, 2015). In more details, it is good for one to understand
the SDLC stages. In conclusion, one will need to apply the modelling tools for the system
analysis and design.

In any case, since the publishing company is dealing with large quantity of books, this
may be tiresome when they do it manually considering they have more than location with
different sales centers. Ideally to understand this, the system will be able to help in identifying
the number of writers by use of a universal code usually named as ISBN. Ideally, being a big
company that usually contains a list of more than 100 books it will not be easy for one to indicate
the catalogues for each book and for each author considering one author may have more than 10
books with different ISBN that helps in identifying them. Ideally, if the system was to be
implemented then it will help in easy management of the three sales offices from the
headquarters without having to go to the sales offices directly.
