User Requirements:
Sales Details: All the staff of the store must have a centralized system that can store
the sales details. The system will store and distribute the sales details to all the authorized
users. The sales people and other management executives can easily track sales related
activities.
Digital Price Book: The system will store the price and other details of the products
of Maria’s Aquarium in a digital format. This can be referred to as a database schema
installed in the DBMS. The users will only point out the product and the details will be
automatically shown and copied to the current sub system.
Order Management: The system will be managing the orders and notify the intended
staff or customer of Maria’s Aquarium in accurate time. After the customer makes a
purchase, the system will notify the sales person and selected store manager. The store man
will monitor the delivery process.
Automatic Back Processes: The most essential thing that the users need to avoid
mistakes and concentrate more on core Maria’s Aquarium business activities is automatic
processes. The automatic back processes will check stock availability, generate sales reports,
payroll delivery, invoice creation and more. Basically all the accounts related process can be
automated using the system. One thing must be considered before planning the system of
Maria’s Aquarium is that the system must be organization wide and consist of all the stores
and work in real time.
