Report
AI Summary
This report presents a system analysis and design for an online store, similar to Amazon, focusing on the back-end structure. It includes essential UML diagrams such as FCM, use case, class (with inheritance), and activity diagrams to illustrate the system's functionality and data structures. The report details the importance of each diagram in the design process, emphasizing their roles in requirements gathering, workflow optimization, and system behavior modeling. Furthermore, it analyzes the impact of implementing an online store, highlighting potential benefits such as increased sales, improved customer understanding through data analysis, and enhanced profitability due to efficient product movement. References to relevant research support the analysis of e-commerce advantages and customer relationship management.

2(a). FCM Diagram
2(b).Importance of an FCM Diagram during Design
Having an FCM diagram for the design of any system is very crucial since it brings a lot
of merits as listed below:

It Saves time in the workflow process.
It is a perfect tool for brainstorming ideas and collaborating with other members of the
team.
It further refines the process of wire framing.
Aids in the evaluation of the feasibility of features and eliminate layout and functionality
issues.
Analyse how users will interact with the system
3(a). Use Case Diagram

3(b).Importance of a Use Case Diagram.
Use case aids in capturing the functional requirements of a system.
They can serve as the basis for making estimations, scheduling, and validating efforts.
Use case can change gradually in each iteration from a method of getting requirements, to
come up with guidelines for programmers, to a test case and also into making user
documentation.

Alternative paths available in use cases capture additional behavior that can improve the
robustness of a system.Analyse the data structures that should be implemented.
4(a). Class Diagram-Inheritance
4(b). The importance of an inheritance class diagram
The Purpose for class chart is to demonstrate the static perspective on an application.
Class graphs are the main charts which can be straightforwardly mapped with object oriented
programming languages which make good use of inheritance and in this manner broadly utilized
at the season of development.
It is used for making analysis and planning of the static perspective of an application.

Portrays the obligations of a system.
It acts as a base for components and diagrams for deployment.
Used to do Forward and reverse engineering.
Analyse how the system will respond to the use cases.
5(a).Activity Diagram
5(b). The importance of an activity diagram:
It catches the dynamic conduct of the system.
Draws the flow of activities of the system.
Portrays the sequence from an activity to the next activity.
Portrays the parallel, branched and simultaneous progression of the system.

6. Analyse the Impact.
Having an online store for a huge company like Amazon is inevitable in this
technological age. Many citizens outside and within the United states make purchases for items
online compared to those who visit physical stores. Having an online shop will therefore increase
the sales the company will receive moving forward (Chiu, Fang et al., 2017). This will also make
customers discover all the products available at all Amazon Warehouses easily unlike visiting
every store. This will be available on the website and anyone will be able to search for any item
or product they want without even registering to use the system. Amazon will also be able to
understand the things her customers like by capturing the search operations from the web based
system and making analysis (Deng & Wang, 2016). Finally, on the economical aspect, it is
without doubt that the company will notice an increase in profits once the system is
implemented. This is explained by the increased sales and increased access for vendors to the
company. The quick and fast way of choosing and checking out on products also allows for
quick movement of products from the time of manufacture to the time an item gets to the final
consumer (Wang, Cavusoglu & Deng, 2016).
