Stakeholder Map
For every stakeholder, description of why they have interest in the project
The report has analysed the list of stakeholders for My Health Record electronic system.
The stakeholders have been categorised into the four quadrants in the stakeholder map. The four
quadrants of the stakeholder map are an external executive, internal operation, external operation
and internal executive respectively. The internal operations involve the following stakeholders-
admin, general manager, director, managers and CEO’s. The internal executive comprises of the
patients, technical staffs and the employees. The external executive comprises of the investors,
medicine suppliers, ambulance providers and the medical equipment suppliers. The external
operation comprises of the organisational service providers and the healthcare professionals. The
report has elaborated in details which stakeholders are connected to project’s services and the
interest. The stakeholder diagram has been shown below-

General Managers- General managers are responsible for providing training to the staff, they
manage the work in the absence of the managers.
Administrators- Administrators belongs to the group of the internal operation stakeholder group.
They are the founders of the organisations, and they are in charge of the electronic system.
Director- Director, is in charge of administrating the organisation. They have some control over
the organisation.
Managers- The stakeholders manage the business flow, they manage the technical staff and the
employee staff.
Internal executive
Employees- the employees work under the managers and the general managers. They perform all
the activities related to the My Health Record. The employees manage all the outgoing request as
well as the incoming request.
Patients- They request for services from the organisation and at the same time they request for
services from the service providers.
Technical Staff- The technical staff are responsible for providing technical staffs to the
organisations. They provide the technical support to the My Health Record System users.
External Operation
Organisational service providers- The organisational service providers provide the hospital
related services such as the desired hospital services to the users, tests and beds.

Healthcare professionals- Healthcare professionals are responsible for providing medical
treatment to the users, customers or the patients.
External Executive
Investors- Investors are the stakeholders who are either single or belong to a group or belong to
an organisation. The investors are the ones who invest their money for the project.
Medicine suppliers- The medicine suppliers are responsible for supplying medicine to the
organisation on demand.
Government- the Government makes the legislation to run the medical electronic public usable
system. The Government is responsible for taking measures for the data privacy and provides
security.
Medical equipment suppliers- The medical equipment suppliers are responsible for supplying
the medical equipment as per demands.
Ambulance Providers- The ambulance service providers, provide the ambulance services based
on the requirements.

Admin stakeholder has been selected from the internal operation quadrant, and he will be
interviewed.
Introduction statement that would go with the questionnaire and will explain the purpose
of the questionnaire
The questionnaire will help the organisation to assess what system or solution they require by
implementing the proposed application. A set of the questionnaire has been set, and the
questionnaire and the questionnaire will help the technical consultant to know about the
proposed requirements in details. The questionnaire set will contain –
What do you want to do adopting My Health Record system?
What kind of services the does organisation want to serve to the stakeholders?
What kind of stakeholders does the organisation have?
What kind of functionalities the does organisation require from the system?
What are the issues the organisation faces at the time of serving patients?
Would organisation want to have registration as well as login panel associated with the
system?
Does the organisation need online payment system?
Who will be given access to which part of the system?
Can the organisation be able to raise the fund at the time of development?

Login- The user will have to log in to gain access to the system to avail the services of My
Health Record.

account using the use case.
Managing health record- User case will help the patient or the user to manage the ‘My Health
Record’.
Managing access, privacy and the security- It explains that the user can be able to manage and
customise their account’s privacy as well as the security.
Medical treatment- This use case states that any user by using the medical treatment can request

Hospital services- These hospital services use case offer user all the services related to the

Childs health record- A parent can send a request to a medical professional team to integrate the
records with their child’s health record.
Another user record- The other users will utilise the other user record.
Logout- Logout use case demonstrates that the user can be able to exit from the system.
Defining the fully developed use case description for any of the important use case
identified
A use case diagram has been drawn in the report and has been explained in details. Each
use case term- medical services, hospital service, registration, manage health record, my health
record, privacy and security have been thoroughly explained in the three sections. Among all the
use case explained, the most important one is the ‘registration’. The user will have to register at
first then only the user can gain access to the system. The user will not be able to gain access to
the system without registration (French et al., 2017). After the registration is complete, the user
can be able to log in the system. The organisational service providers, the professionals and all
the patients will have to pass through this use case to avail the service of electronic health record
system. The users will not be able to login into the system without registration.
The patients will be viewing the health record online anywhere anytime from any
devices. The patients’ details will be updated all the time. The doctors can see the patients’
details and can take the necessary actions. The patients will not have to explain their health
details all the time to the doctors (Kidd, 2017). According to the use case, the patient can request
for any medical treatment. The patients can avail all kinds of hospital services and the
organisational services. The user can log out of their system. The login logout facility will ensure
the privacy of the user.
