SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
Introduction
My health record (MHR) is an innovative and much need system that keeps track of the
patient’s health. The system is a computerized system that maintains a database which can be
accessed by the patients and the person/ group authorized by the patient. The hospitals of
Australia are equipping the system so that they can gain data of the patients from even remote
location and suggest proper medication for dire situations. The report has discussed the
requirements of the system from stakeholders to use cases model of the system. A questionnaire
has also been discussed in the paper that will be equipped to engage stakeholder to collect data
for upgrading the discussed system.
Stakeholder Analysis
Stakeholders are one of the core part of any system. In the deemed case, the stakeholders
will be analyzed to gain an insight into the system requirement. The stakeholders of the MHR
can be differentiated in external administrative stakeholders, external operations stakeholders,
internal administrative stakeholders and internal operations stakeholders and the paper will
pursue the same.
Stakeholder Map
Stakeholder map is the process of mapping the stakeholders according to their powers.
The stakeholder map in the deemed scenario has been mapped in four quadrants that includes;
internal administrative stakeholders, external administrative stakeholders, internal operations
stakeholders and external operations stakeholders. The plotting of the stakeholders in the map
has taken consideration of their power and position and plotted them accordingly.

Stakeholder Interests
The stakeholder descriptions have been provided in the table below:
Stakeholder Description
Governing bodies The governing bodies refers to the owner(s)/ board of owners and
others. They own the organisation but the only reason for
considering them as external stakeholder is because their
participation with the system is not direct.
State/Country
government
The government of the country or state is also an stakeholder for
the system and organisation because they set the directive and
protocol for the use of the system and also monitors for frauds and
other unethical means of the system. Though they set the directive
and protocol but the they are not directing the use of the system
directly and hence are associated with external administrative
stakeholders.
Financers Financers/Investors are the stakeholders who finance the
organisation and are not associated with the use of system and
hence are the external stakeholders.

Control Board Control board of the hospital will be the controlling head of the
organisation and the system and will take the direct control of the
system. They will authorize the use and access of the system to the
individuals depending on the guidelines and hence they are the
internal administrative stakeholders.
Medical heads The medical heads are the head medical authorities of the
organisation who directs and monitors all the medical operations of
the organization. Based on their demand the control board allows
access or restricts it and hence, they directly holds responsibility for
the system and are the internal administrative stakeholders.
System Administration System administration are the individual(s) that are responsible for
appropriate operation of the system and has all control of the
system vested in their hands which they use on directives of control
board. Their direct relation with the system earns them a position in
internal administrative stakeholders.
Doctor The doctors are the ones who collects and enters the data in the
system and hence are categorized as internal operations
stakeholders because they carry out most of the operations of the
system.
Medical Team The doctors cannot proceed with the system unless, they have a
team to assist them in their work. The team generally include,
nurses, compounders and others. They are also associated with the
system directly and hence, are internal operations stakeholders.
Patients The patients are considered as the internal operations stakeholders
for the system because the system has been designed for them and
it is their data which are managed in the system and hence the
choice.
Management staff The hospitals also need a management strategy that manages the
operation of the hospital from within and without their assistance
the organizational operations may get chaotic. It should also be
noted that they are not directly associated with the system and

Questionnaires Introduction Statement
The developed questionnaire is directed towards the doctors to collect necessary data that
will be used to enhance the system. (Missonier & Loufrani-Fedida, 2014).
Questionnaire
The questionnaire:
1. How much will you rate the system?
2. Best aspect of the system.
3. Opinion on patient’s treatment
4. Is the system beneficial economically?
5. Has the system increased cost of operation?
6. Response of the patients
7. Drawbacks of the system.
8. Suggestions for improvement.
9. Evaluate the current scenario.
