Answer to Question 1: Essay
A system analysis is done for Party Placemakers limited for the development of the
information system. The business organization deals with planning and coordinating special
events. The details of the business and the events are currently managed by the business
organization manually. The manual process takes more time and it becomes a problem for the
staffs for the management of the information about the events. The details are recorded by
conducting an interview with the office manager and the client. The budget of the plan and any
special wishes are highlighted for finalizing the project and the necessary documentation are
done for organizing the event.
The development of the information system would help the organization to manage the
information efficiently and communicate with the staffs. The business process of the
organization are analyzed for gathering the requirement about the project. A preliminary design
of the database are created by developing an event table and different modelling diagrams. The
development of the information system would help the organization to reduce the risk of human
error that can occur due to manual work and all the information about the event can be stored
centrally in a single database (Di Sarno et al. 2016). With the development of the information
system for Party Placemakets Limited (PPL) the business organization can improve customer
relationship with the involvement of the clients actively in the party event. The paper works
required for organization the event would be minimized because the client can fill out a form for
providing the details of the event and other relevant information. The form can be shared with
the staff’s organization the event for reducing the communication gap and more number of

customers can be served at a time (Pungaonkar, Dudhe and Shete 2017). For maintaining a
transparency in the business process the details of the price for getting extra license or parking
facility can be displayed to the customer. From the information system the customer should be
able to calculate the budget for organizing the event and more special wished can be added for
the event. The developed information system should be able to reduce the waiting time of the
customer and the customer should be able to reach the organization from any remote location.
The business organization can expand their current business with the deployment of the
information system solution in their business process because it would help to reach the
customers from remote locations (Watson, Salmoni and Zecevic 2015). Moreover the
information system would also benefit the organization by recording the accounting information
and transaction of the business. The invoice for each of the transaction can be stored in the
information system and a report can be generated by the manager for auditing the business
benefits. The details of the venues, caterer, florists and the brands should be included in the
information system for ensuring that no information are missed (Jones 2014). The customer
should be able to rank their service and provide comment and it should be viewed by the other
customers for maintaining a transparency in the current business process of the organization.
For the development of the information system it is necessary to prepare a proper
planning and an analysis should be done on the requirement. The information system should be
developed with the involvement of the stakeholders such that the requirement is made clear. The
development team is responsible to create a design by analyzing the requirement and share it
with the client for verification. Meetings should be arranged with the stakeholders for making the
requirement clear and the inclusion of the charges in the information system (Arasu et al. 2016).

development of the information system. The risk associated with the development of the
information system should be identified and a risk mitigation strategy should be created for

2014). The project manager should create a project schedule listing all the activity included for
