ITECH2002 - System Modelling Assignment 1: Amazon Warehouse

This report presents a system modelling analysis of an Amazon warehouse subsystem. It begins by identifying key stakeholders, including managers, staff, customers, and sellers/resellers, and outlining their roles. The report then describes various use cases, such as hiring staff, evaluating cost analysis, creating recall requests, and managing shelves, providing detailed descriptions of each. timings that amazon

Staffs Pack the Products The products that are not
packed by the resellers or the
sellers are packed in the
warehouse of amazon. The
warehouse of amazon has the
packaging equipment and
staffs has the responsibility to
maintain the equipment and
pack the products which are
not packed.
Staffs Update Item Available The warehouse items are
updated by the staffs on the
database system of amazon.
When a new item is added,
the staffs needs to add that
particular item on the
database system or remove
them accordingly. The
quantity of items are also
maintained by the staffs.
System of Amazon Update status of package The system of warehouse has
the responsibility to update

the customer about their
package. When the staffs
updates the status on the
database, the system has the
responsibility to update those
notifications to the customer
about the products they have
ordered. When a product is
under packaging, the system
shows the products as being
processed and after shipped,
message is delivered to the
customer showing that order
has been shipped.
System of Amazon Update status of shelves When the shelves are added
or deleted by the managers,
the system keeps the update
of the number of shelves that
were added or removed from
the warehouse.
System of Amazon Update quantity of products The quantity of products
updated by the staffs of
warehouse are updated by the
