Abstract
With the evolution of technology current working processes of the business models are also
evolving. New business models has been also introduced to the market. Some examples of the
evolving business models are the e-commerce. Internet plays an important role in this evolving
market. The processes are being automatized and using the internet many service providers are
trying to deliver high quality service to their clients. Maryland Technology Consultants, Inc.
which is also a consultancy service that attempt to provide high quality services to the customers.
Using the technology in an effective way to improve the services provided by them is their main
goal. Using the technology the company can improve the functions of the organization, the
overall management of the organization. In this report, some recommendations of the system that
will be used by the company is discussed. The company will be using the EZ-ATS systems for
their hiring process. In conclusion, the system was analysed well and the recommendations were
made according to that.

Technology in today’s world has great importance. The role of technology in building a
business is immense. Technology provides innovation in order to increase the responsiveness of
an organization and provides effective and efficient solutions regarding the business processes
(Obeidat et al., 2015). The Maryland Technology Consultants, Inc. is an IT firm that mostly
consults clients using IT methodologies so that the customers can be benefited. The customer
base ranges from small to mid-sized businesses and also includes non-profit organizations and
different levels of government agencies. For the hiring process the company is planning to
implement a SaaS (Software as a service) software, named as EZ-ATS systems. This software
will help to automate the hiring process (Wu, Straub & Liang, 2015). The system is analyzed and
the requirements were provided in this report. In conclusion, the overview of the current system
and the processes of the company are provided and the benefits of using SaaS is produced in this
report.

the IaaS also known as Infrastructure as a service model, which is provided by a vendor to the
