Report
AI Summary
This report analyzes system safety issues, focusing on challenges during implementation and maintenance. It highlights legal liabilities, the need for qualified personnel, data collection and risk reporting systems, and integration with other company domains. The report details the potential negative impacts on business (hampered operations, increased costs, competitive disadvantage) and human resources (lower employee morale, extra work). Recommendations for improvement include employee training, incident databases, establishing minimum safety standards, and robust anti-virus software. The report concludes by emphasizing the importance of addressing these issues to ensure efficient and safe system operations.

System safety show and the issues
The present situations demand rapid expansion of all the activities of business. For this, the
systems have to be set and upgraded so that all the activities happen on time and with perfection.
In this process, ‘safety’ of the systems is an important consideration that has to be taken care of.
It needs to be interpreted in underlined and bold terms. Firstly, the safety implementation is an
issue and then, its maintenance is an issue.
The system safety-related problems
During the implementation of the safety systems, the following issues come up:
The legal issues and legal liabilities of the implementation process have to be determined
in detail while implementing the safety systems.
Identification of the trained and qualified people is another issue because the data is
required to be handled which is very crucial for the companies.
Then, for collecting the data, a proper system needs to be adopted which can help in
reporting and recording the incidents that are harmful for the systems or the company.
There is also need for establishing a risk reporting system which is a cumbersome task as
the system has to be feasible (Ericson, 2015).
The last problem is that when the safety systems are implemented, they have to be
integrated with the other domains of the company. For example, if a safety system is
developed for SMS system of airport, then it has to be integrated with the air traffic
control, all the airline companies and other related agencies.

The potential impact in business terms
In terms of business, the unsuccessful implementation of the safety systems can hamper the day-
to-day activities of the business, it can affect the way in which production happens marketing
happens and the finances are controlled (Brameret, 2013). Also, it will be a burden on the cost
of the company. So, the company will have to incur extra cost if the implementation system
safety fails. The competitors will get a chance to get ahead in the competition and the market
position of the business can be destroyed too.
The potential impact in human terms
In terms of human resources, the failure of safety systems can lead to lower morale of
employees. This is because, when the safety systems will not work in proper way, the employees
may lose their important data, they will have to work on it again (Hammerl, 2012). This will lead
to extra efforts of employees and they may also put in extra hours of work to rectify this
situation. In addition to this, the employees will not be able to see the future roadmap of the
company so they will not get the clarity on what they have to do next or how they have to
proceed further for the development of the company.

Correction of the identified system safety problem(s)
It is very important to correct or rectify the issues that are identified in the implementation of the
safety systems. Some recommendations to correct them are as follows:
The employees can be educated regarding the compliance of safety systems and they
should be trained regarding the proper use of those systems.
A database can be established which has all the record of the incidents and the mishaps
that have happened in the past and they can be avoided later.
A minimum standard of the safe operations can be developed in the organization so that
everyone is aware of what least is expected from them or from the system.
An effective anti-virus must be installed in all the systems so that the safety must be
maintained and implemented.
