ABSTRACT
This research paper is usually focus on the interrogation of information which is about
impact and effect of domestic violence and abuse among the Black Asian Minority people. As
per this, it is also analysed that the main aim of the information at practitioner but it is also
helpful in order to make the working or volunteering with children and young people from the
black, Asian and Minorities ethnic communities and social group. The domestic abuse is
currently defined by the Home office in the 2013 that is showing any incident of pattern which is
focus on control or threatening behaviour which show the aspect of violence or abuse between
those aged 16 or over who has been showing the intimate partner or family member of gender or
sexuality. The research paper continues to discuss the overall impact and effect which is faced by
Black Asian Minority group.

INTRODUCTION (1000)
There are number of children and young people who is related from Black, Asian and
minorities ethnic communities which is showing experience racism, bias, stereotyping or cultural
miscommunication which create improper understanding of the factor which is showing aspect
of growing. It is also happening that the individual, institutional or societal level and also show
that it shows that they are consequently focus on the people to analyse the impact of Black,
Asian minorities (Cénat, 2021). In addition, the discussion is undertaken on Black, Asian and
minorities ethnic communities with the various of background with the different individual
experience that include different experience of racism. It also includes group of people such as
Gypsy and Roma traveller. In order to ensure the children from Black, Asian and minority ethnic
communities which also stated that they focus on support and need where adult are usually
working or focusing on the volunteering with them in order to create the aspect which is about
families and so on (Domestic Abuse in Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Groups, 2021).
Therefore, it is important to get understanding about the children of population regards with
challenge that they face, build relationship which have proper trust, take appropriate action to
make the help to keep children safe, use the strength based approach to make the empower
parents and also have the carer from Black, Asian minorities. It is also analysed that there are
wide range of child abuse and domestic violence is faced by Black Asian ethnic minority in UK.
Therefore, impact and effect show their scope which is on mental as well physical level, due to
long term child abuse, children become ill due to fear and anxiety and have number of injuries on
their body. The fear and anxiety can create negative impact on children mental health as well
physical health. The persistent abuse may impact the children on the wider level where
psychological ability is minimised (Gray, and Rarick, 2018).
There is a consistent focus on the BAME communities because black lives matter movement
usually highlight the existing systemic inequalities facing black people in the UK and across the
world. As per this, the BAME face plat that is ethnic penalty which is showing the level of
poverty and socio-economic disadvantage that face by BAME people as occur due to their
ethnicity. It provides lesser and minimum outcome which is well associated with black
minorities people with the same level of qualification and language skills as their white British
counterpart (Child abuse extent and nature, England and Wales: year ending March 2019,
2021). As per this, the structural inequality which is taken under the minority group which is

pervasive and extend to the criminal justice, healthcare, housing and schooling. For example, the
Gypsy traveller are recognised that they are most excluded social victim or group in the UK
which has greater chance of risk is about probability of ill health, poor educational attainment
which is by settled by using the community measure and poverty (McTavish and et. al., 2019).
There are some of the important key pointer which is analyse within the research is that the
Crime Survey for England and Wales which is estimated that one in five adult aged which is 18
to 74 years’ experience which is at least one form of child abuse it may emotional, physical,
sexual and also witnessing the domestic violence of abuse which is before the age of 16 years.
Many cases of the child abuse remain hidden that is around one in seven adults who is also called
as National Association for people who is abused in the childhood. Therefore, it is also analysing
that half of the adult is approx. 52 percent of children usually experience the abuse before the
confined abuse with the age of 16 years as compared with those 13 percent who did not
experience any abuse in their life before the age of 16 years (Sabri, Simonet, and Campbell,
2018).

To explore the impact and effect of child abuse and domestic violence among children of Black
Asian ethnic minority in UK.
Objective
 To analyse the concept of abuse towards child and domestic violence among children of
Black Asian ethnic minority in UK.
 To evaluate the impact of abuse towards child and domestic violence among children of
Black Asian ethnic minority in UK.
 To examine the ways and strategies used to reduce the negative effect of child abuse and
domestic violence among children of Black Asian ethnic minority in UK.
