AI Summary
This document is a design specification report for FIT9130, focusing on the My Travel (MT) Company, a tour and travel service. The report begins with an executive summary outlining the need for an automated web-based system to handle customer bookings and requests, replacing the current manual system. The introduction provides an overview of the case study and the use of UML diagrams. The core of the report includes a use case diagram illustrating the interactions between actors (customers and staff) and use cases (e.g., confirm booking, login, request booking). It also features a detailed use case description for customer login, covering success and failure scenarios, triggering events, actors, purpose, pre- and post-conditions, and flow of events. Activity and sequence diagrams further illustrate the customer login process. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of these UML diagrams for the development of the My Travel system, and the references provides the source for the system analysis and design approach.
