1. Introduction
For the purpose of this task as System Analysis and
Design, it will be assuming about
the terms in International Charity Foundation (ICF). It is a private ancillary fund

which partners with the Australian OAGDS (Overseas Aid Deduction Scheme). For the

purpose of this
project, there are certain aims and objectives that will understand
the requirements of the projects and will also present a
cost-benefit analysis. The
chief stakeholders of the project will be identified along with the project schedules.

1.1
Project objectives:
The objectives of the project are to develop an information system so that the phone

calls and emails could be answered automatically. The other objectives are to build a

system so that the problem of wastage of supplies and lack of supplies could be

solved.

1.2 Project aims:

The aims of the project are to present a Work Breakdown Structure, determine

project
cost-benefit analysis, describe the involved stakeholders and to justify the
investigation techniques.

2.1 International Charity Fund (ICF) in developing its information system:

The approach that ICF will utilize for the purpose of solving its staff availability problem is

Rapid Application Development as it is one of the suitable approaches in the system

development. RAD approach will be assisting in designing the information system in a

shorter period of time (
Baylor, et. al., 2015). RAD provides higher accuracy and involves
tools and techniques such as CASE tools and the code generators which will assist in

developing the codes for automatically answering the phone calls and emails for each

donation made.

The second used approach will be an
agile approach which would tackle the problems in the
system and could compare towards the traditional approaches (Waterfall model). This

approach would also divide the systems development process into the modular and the sub-

tasks. This will assist the customers to get a quick review
of the online systems and provide
a further rapid feedback (
Wingerchuk, 2015).
2.2 Selected approaches for system development:

The information system that could be utilised by ICF
is CRM and ERP. The ERP system has a
service of the integrated modules. All the respective modules support
business functions
such as sales, accounting, RDBMS and the inventory database. The modules would be

remaining integrated and flexible within the food and medical supplies information system.

It will also assist in generating the latest reports of the stock at diverse branches. For ICF it

will help in determining the level of stock, product planning consolidation of purchase data

and system tracking intelligence. The goal of CRM is to enhance the communication

between
the employees in driving the project smoothly.

3. Systems Requirements
3.1 All primary functional requirements:

The diverse system requirements in the system are of the automated software for the

customers. The functional needs are the behaviours of the system.

Certain typical functional requirements are,

System developer requirements:

System maintenance.
Uninterrupted automated system design.
Automated system requirements:

Online subscriptions and the records of the members.
Giving unique identification and the future purchase.
Updating the inventory.
Administrator requirements:

Monitoring and controlling the records of the clients.
Maintaining the stakeholder’s transactions.
ICF requirement:

Consolidation of the ordered activities for all the branches utilising the excel sheets.
Auto checking of the stock in the branches.
3.2 All non-functional requirements:

The non-functional requirements can be captured as per the required properties of the

system. The properties can be of timing, security and performance. The non-functional

requirements for the project are similar to the characteristics of the designed system that

evaluates the performance (
Barclay, 2017).
Certain non-functional requirements of ICF are:

Group of sales summary reports, delivery schedule reports and the low-in stock
reports.

The system needs to track the stock at the diverse branches so that the wastage
could be avoided.

System needs to report back to the clients on phone calls as well as the emails.

4.1 Cost Benefit Analysis

The cost-benefit analysis is a systematic approach for estimating the strengths as well as

the weaknesses of the alternatives. It is utilised for the purpose of providing the best

approaches for achieving the benefits at the time of preserving the savings. The CBS has

also been processing for the purpose of calculating and also comparing the benefits and

the costs of
decisions (Celli, et. al., 2017).

7. Reflections and Conclusions
7.1 Reflection
:
In the following project of the
International Charity Fund we figured out the ways to design
as well as implementing fresh and fully automated reply system. Constraints of the various

former systems could be determined by the modern system development approaches and

the other techniques of investigation, so it was an effectual option. The ways of having a

higher
number of individuals for the different branches and countries of the International
Charity Fund the new system would have been a time saver, flexible, cheaper and also user-

friendly. After the effectual installation of the developed
system, it is said that the new
systems, as well as the software’s that have been working effectually, are attracting a
higher
number of donations from all over the world. This
has saved the wastage of the stock and
solved other issues of staff.

7.2 Conclusion
:
From the above
task, it could be concluded that the report shows the requirement of the
information system and the details about the
installation of other software’s. the functional,
as well as the non-functional requirements of the project, have also been explained along

with the RAD and Agile modern development approaches. The Work Breakdown Structure

and the Gantt chart have also been presented in the project.
