1. Explain the
relevance of
systems thinking to
the project,
program and
portfolio manager.
System thinking is essential as all projects are now become complex. To manage
such complexities, it is essential to use system thinking so that all leads direct in
suitable frame (Jackson, 2016). A project manager needs to use system thinking
while draft a project so that they can ascertain goals and targets of a project
clearly with implementation of system engineering. Along with this frame,
portfolio manager is one which manage different risk attribute of a project in
context of portfolios. This will be going to enhance the optimum level of project
with mitigation of risk (Kerzner and Kerzner, 2017). I have to determine that
project needs project manager, program manager and portfolio manager to
make system relevant. Program manager uses its skill so that they can launch
new software. Deep water horizon case study is essential to draw so that system
thinking control the harms and risk associate with deep water. I have to
undertake them all and need to facilitate such aspect so that system thinking
lead to done in right direction and fulfil all required criteria of system thinking. It
proclaims a systematic framework to me for growth and development.
