This research proposal investigates the impact of talent management on employee performance, specifically within Asda Stores plc. The project aims to understand the concept of talent management, determine its importance in enhancing employee performance, and assess various strategies for implementing effective talent management practices. The proposal outlines the research objectives, literature sources, activities, timescales, and methodologies, including the use of a quantitative research method with a deductive approach and positivism philosophy. Data collection will involve questionnaires administered to a sample of 45 Asda employees, supported by a review of secondary literature. The project is designed to provide insights into how talent management can improve employee productivity, engagement, and retention, offering valuable implications for human resource management.
