INTRODUCTION
Talent management is a process that is methodically organised that is strategic process of
getting right talent and helping in utilisation of optimal capabilities according to organisational
objectives. It is a process that involves identification of vacant positions and talent gaps
according to suitability of candidate and then development of needs with a future perspective.
Amazon is a American multinational organisation that is based in Seattle, Washington. It was
founded by Jeff bezos in 1994. it was started as a online market of books and now has expanded
across software, electronics, furniture, apparel, toys, jewellery. Presently there is discussion
based on comprehensive project management plan with a milestone schedule that will be
governing all different aspects of research report.

Research aim: Aim of the research is “To analyse the processes used by the managers of
Amazon to attract, develop, motivate and retain high performing employees of different age
groups”.

According to views of Susan Heathfield, 2019 talent management is part of commitment
to recruit, hire, retain and develop the superior and talented employees. With instance to
Amazon talent management is a a process that is using of data driven recruitment strategy for
mitigation of risk and identification of opportunities that an assist in mitigate the shortfalls of
talent. In Amazon there is focus on job Candidates with top quality profiles (Khan, 2019). There
is estimation to hire employees with more accuracy and creation of best candidate experience.
Amazon HR managers are willing to hire talent from diverse talent according to best interest of
organisation. There is focus on building up of realistic plans of hiring employees in case of high
risk situations that is large competitors present that can create unnecessary burden of cost and
lead to reduction in productivity (Lawler, 2017). The hole HR department is using information
for making future workforce decision that is identification of best recruitment sources and hiring
quality candidates for impending talent shortfalls. There are finite number of qualified
employees that are focussed according to efforts and then hiring of quality profiles according to
vacancy (How to Compete For Talent Against the Amazons of Your Industry–and Win, 2020).

Project management plan is a tool hat is used for developing a overview of different aspect that
are part of every research. It is used for research facilitation and providing guidance to manage
different research activities. The Project management plan is mentioned below:
Cost: It is the financial requirement of whole research work. In this there has to be
arrangement of financial resources to ensure that all activities of research are timely completed.
Scope: the scope of research is to ensure a in depth analysis and draw conclusions
according to the way talent is being managed in Amazon. The results from this research will be
used for managing further talent in other similar organisations.
Resources: There is need of certain crucial resources to ensure that research is timely and
properly completed. Such as it includes newspaper, magazines, journal articles, books to draw
