INTRODUCTION
Managing a Successful Business Project refers to undertaking a specific business project
by setting a particular aim as well as different types of objectives so that the project is
undertaken successfully and the goals and objectives which are related with the project are
attained in the right manner (Abdullahi, Raman and Solarin, 2020). The aim of the study is to
provide detailed background of the way talent management is used in the right way within the
different types of organisations which can help a lot in ensuring that the managers of the
organisations are able to take appropriate steps for the purpose of dealing in an effective way
with the wide range of needs and requirements of the organisation. Therefore, the organisations
are required to make sure that they can undertake business projects and use appropriate
techniques and methods so that these projects are successfully completed. The company which
has been chosen for this report is Tesco. It is a British Company which deals in groceries and
other related products. It provides these products to the customers to earn profits. The research
topic which has been set for this project is “The key challenges and obstacles which are faced in
different business sectors in terms of talent management”. In this report, specific analysis will be
made on establishment of project aims, objectives and timeframes, conducting of small-scale
research, presentation of the project. Additionally, reflection on the value gained from the project
will also be covered as a part of this particular assignment.

can be attained in the right manner. The challenges of Talent Management such as Encouraging
passion, embracing new interests, Offering impressive salaries, Giving encouraging work,
Attracting talent in the first place and Being open-minded. Thus Tesco can face these type of
challenges while trying to apply talent management strategies in the organisation which can thus
create problems and issues for the HR department in ensuring the attainment of goals and
objectives.
According to the opinion of Jay Tankersley, the different types of strategies can be used
by the organisations for ensuring Talent Management within the organisations. The strategies
which can be used by the management are Align Talent and Strategy, Perform Consistent

Employee Reviews, Recognize Top Employees and Take Talent Management Courses. Thus, in
this way Tesco's management can make sure that it is able to raise the overall level of efficiency
and effectiveness and thus manage the talent of different type of people in the organisations

completion of the project that the level of efficiency and effectiveness of the people can
be enhanced in the right manner. Tesco's project will therefore make sure that the
efficiency and effectiveness level of its workers can be increased which will benefit it a
lot in the future.
Proper management of talent- After the completion of the project, it is expected that
the proper management of talent in the organisation will be carried out. Thus in this way,
it can be said that Tesco is able to properly manage the talent of people effectively and
efficiently.
Work Breakdown Structure- A Work Breakdown Structure i.e. WBS is essential in Project
Management because it helps in ensuring that a main task is divided into several small objectives
and thus appropriate methods and techniques can be used in order to ensure that these particular

that they are able to use it for the purpose of ensuring that the division of the tasks can be done
