This report investigates the role of talent management strategies in employee development and retention, with a specific focus on Pret a Manger. It aims to understand talent management concepts and practices, examine their role in employee growth and retention, and identify challenges arising from ineffective implementation. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a survey with 20 respondents to gather data on perceptions of talent management's importance, its role in talent retention, employee development, engagement, and attraction, as well as the challenges faced due to ineffective talent management, such as high employee turnover and disengaged employees. The findings indicate a general consensus on the importance of talent management and highlight strategies like employee motivation, training, and rewards. The report concludes that talent management is essential for managing and maintaining a productive workforce, recommending the implementation of various strategies to enhance organizational performance.
