This report presents a research project investigating the impact of talent management on human resources (HR) practices within the context of Morrison's company. The research aims to assess the mutual effect of talent management and HR activities, identifying the main role of talent management, determining its impact, and exploring associated challenges. The methodology includes primary research using questionnaires and secondary research from various sources. Findings reveal that most participants understand the impact of talent management, and HR plays roles in recruitment, training, and talent management. The conclusion highlights the importance of talent management for business performance and innovation. Recommendations include rewarding and recognizing employees and providing monetary benefits to enhance employee retention. This report is based on a BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business unit 11 research project.
