Talent management tend to also focuses on identifying the skilled candidates along with
regular providing training and making use of other strategies to ensure higher motivation and
development of employees to drive success within a firm (Sandeepanie and et. al., 2022). The
organisation selected for current project is New Look which is a well-known British fashion
retailer that was established during the year 1969 and having speciality in delivering trendy
clothing, accessories and footwear for all men, women and teenagers. Currently new look is
having more than 519 stores in UK and Ireland along with offering its product across the world
including its branches in Bangladesh and many countries (7 Fashion Brands Made in
Bangladesh, 2022).

facing issues and challenges related with the management of talent based on ineffective
communication and lack of motivation in employees. Thus, undertaking of current project is
rational and significant as it would support a better underdoing about the need and importance of
talent management within current business scenario. It has been seen that companies are facing
issues related with talent crisis as well as high employee turnover because of having ineffective
motivation as well as lack of satisfaction in employees (Adnan and et. al., 2022). Thus, at that
time focusing on effective talent management that includes regular employee training along with
other practises such as flexible working, regular rewards and perks along with ensuring better
health and wellbeing of employees is playing a vital role in attracting and retaining skilled
employees. Therefore, current study is seemed to be rationale and significant for business
organisation to have a check on issue of high employee turnover and lack of motivation along
with supporting a more skilled and talented workforce to derive higher performance and success
level. Beside this, current project is also rationale for researcher and other scholars as it supports
better knowledge creation and skill development for having better future opportunities.
