Section Five: Research approach and methodologies
What type of research approach and methodologies are you likely to use and why?
What your areas of research will cover -
Research Philosophies – This is consider as a useful process that can help in collect and
analyse the appropriate data related to the research topic. Two kind of researcher
philosophies are considered by the researcher these are positivism and interpretivisim
philosophy. Both philosophies are essential to conduct this research but to carry out this
research, positivism philosophies will be used because this philosophy help in gather the
qualitative data in a specific time. Interpretivism philosophy is not suitable because it only
consider qualitative data and require more time.
Researcher Approach – This approach is useful because it can help to make research
process more appropriate and interesting. There are two kind of approaches are considered
such as inductive approach and deductive approach. Both approach are useful for the study
but to carry out this current research, deductive approach will be considered because it is
helpful to analyse the qualitative information and maintain the validity and reliability of the
data. Inductive approach mainly consider some kind of innovative and observable facts and
usually consider qualitative data.
Research Choice - In context of research, there are two types of research choices
considered such as qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research collect data
from the observation, interview and quantitative research can be collected through survey
questionnaire. To carry out this research, quantitative research will be opt because it can
help to gather the numeric data in a structured form.
Research Instruments- This is a technique that help to collect the appropriate data in a
specific manner. There are various instruments are considered such as interview , survey,
questionnaire method and observation methods. All instruments are essential to gather the
research data related to the talent management but to carry out this study questionnaire

method is consider so that researcher can get the relevant information about the topic.
Sampling Techniques - This is a most essential techniques which is mandatory for each
and every research. There are two types of sampling methods used such as probability
sampling and non- probability sampling. Both techniques are essential for the research but
to carry out this present research, probability sampling methods will be use because it can
help select research target randomly. The sample size of this study is 30.
