The main reason of choosing this research is t o examine the role of talent management
framework and its future implications for increasing performance of employees within an
organization. This study help in both on personal and professional perspective. In context
to professional, the advantage of this investigation is about talent management strategies
that help researcher in dealing with the organizational issues effectively. In relation to
personal, it help in improving skills that is time management, communication and,
research skills, data analysis many more. Moreover, it also assist researcher to gain
knowledge about the steps used in research which in turn help in conducting future
investigation in a proper manner. Moreover, it help me in development of sound
professional career in future along with development of effective personality which will
assist company's personnel in future to deal with employee associated problems easily.

Research methodology is an important procedure of an investigation as it assist researcher in
collecting data and information in a proper manner. Research onion framework is adopted in
order to explain the research methods used in the research. It consists of various layers which
are given below:
Research philosophy: it is the procedure which will be adopted in order to collect and
evaluate information about the particular topic. The main two philosophies are interpretivism
and pragmatism. Both these forms of research philosophies are appropriate but as per the topic,
pragmatism philosophy is effective and valuable. In addition to this, it takes less time and
resources and also help in attaining valid and positive results. Moreover, the reason for choose

this method is it based upon subjective approaches, not on emotions or feelings. So, it can be
said that it is one of the best method which helps in getting more accurate and appropriate
decision or step in real time situation. The reason behind choosing this combination of
methodologies is it helps in associating the research with the qualitative side of the story and

Research approach: it is the procedure which will be following in an investigation with the

of time horizon is longitudinal and cross-sectional. In the present investigation, cross-sectional
approach is taken into consideration as it assist in achieving work in best manner within set
time frame. Moreover, it help researcher in completion of activities within adequate and
allocated time frame without any issues.
Data collection: it is the procedure adopt in order to collect primary as well as secondary data
by effective and reliable sources. In order to complete the research, both primary as well as
secondary method will be used. In order to collect primary data, questionnaire will be used by
researcher as it assist in getting reliable and positive outcome within less time frame and for
this investigator choose 40 respondents (employees of TESCO, Lockerbie branch). On the
other side, the secondary data will be collected from articles, books, journal papers and many
more. Both the primary and secondary data collection are important and valuable for researcher
in achieving objectives. The main reason with the use of primary source is able to collect first-
hand information that is effective in order to gain reliable, unbiased and accurate information.
Moreover, use of secondary sources help in gaining in-depth knowledge on research topic from
the reliable resources.
Sampling: it is basically the procedure of selecting the sample within the total population by
two methods that is non-probability and probability sampling method. For the present
investigation, probability sampling is taken into consideration. The main reason to select
probability sampling is it help researcher to select large base of sample in less time period.
There is use of 40 respondents (40 employees) in order to gather data and to attain objectives.
The main purpose of choosing employees as participants is they have the idea about ground
workings . In addition to this, the diversified staff members belonging from various culture
assist in identifying the effectiveness of talent management strategies on the productivity of
employees.
