Research Project: Global Talent Management within Multinationals

This research project, submitted for an HND Business course, investigates best practices in global talent management within multinational organizations, using Morrisons as a case study. The project begins with an introduction to talent management, defining its key components, and then poses research questions focused on the effectiveness, practices, and challenges of talent management within Morrisons. The research aims to identify and understand these practices, setting objectives to increase understanding, identify specific practices, and ascertain challenges. A literature review explores the effectiveness of talent management, the practices employed, and the challenges faced, citing relevant sources. The methodology outlines the research philosophy, approach, strategy, choice, data collection methods, and instruments. The anticipated outcome is to highlight the importance of talent management for business performance. The project includes a Gantt chart for timeline management and a comprehensive list of references.
