The major reason of conducting this research is to analyse appropriate talent-management
strategies used by the business in order to get higher succession opportunities. Besides this the
present investigation is associated with analysing major aspects of talent-management
strategies which are led by the business so that to grab success and attainability. These

practices are essential for business to grab such distinctive place at market level. In the context
of talent-management strategies this is imperative that there are significant importance held due
to which this is easier for the business to get assistance over gaining market edge. In the
context of this research , with the help of this research researcher may enhance their own
knowledge regarding understanding talent-management strategies taken by the organisation.
This research is associated with dual aspect in which personal and professional aspects are
added. In the terms of personal aspect this research is helping in enhancing personal skills such
as communication, decision making, critical thinking and many more. Besides this in terms of
professional aspect this research will aid researcher to manage their future researches in
appropriate manner. This research topic is satisfying personal and professional needs of

Talent-management is defined as the scope in which HR manager is dealing with attracting and
retaining talent in such a way that high performing employees can be retained. In every
business talent-management strategies are playing significant role in order to optimise
employee performance.
What are the various strategies used by ASOS within talent-management?
There are various strategies used within talent-management such as providing appropriate job
description, providing regular training and development opportunities and inhaling cultural
fitness. Talent management is the full scope of HR processes to attract, onboard, develop,
engage, and retain high-performing employees.
What are those challenges and issues faced by ASOS during implementing talent-
management strategies within organisational functions?
There are various challenges which are faced by organisation while implementing talent
management strategies such as resistance to change management. Besides this neglecting

Research methodology is defined as the major part of research in which assistance to

researcher is given in respect of gathering and accumulating data related to given topic. Under

Research philosophy: This is defined as the process which is used in order to evaluate
information related to research topic. There are two research philosophies such as
interpretivisim and positivism. Under this research Positivism research philosophy will be used
as this will lead researcher to grab appropriate knowledge regarding given research topic.
Research approach: This is defined as the manner in which gathered information can be
evaluated by researcher. There are two types of research approaches such as inductive and
deductive. Under this research deductive approach will be used so that to take out significant
results.
Research strategy: This is an essential aspect used for gathering information and under this
research questionnaire will be used by researcher so that to gather quantitative data.
Research choice: There are two research choice such as qualitative and quantitative and under
this research, quantitative research choice will be used in order to attain research objectives.
Data collection: There are two major methods of data collection such as primary and
secondary. Under this research both primary and secondary data collection method will be used
and for primary questionnaire is taken and for secondary literature review is taken.
Time horizon: Time-horizon is divided into two types such as cross-sectional and longitudinal.
Under this research cross-sectional time-horizon will be used in order to finish the overall
research in appropriate manner.
Sampling: This is defined as the process in which samples are taken out from overall
population. There are two types of sampling such as probabilistic sampling and non-probability
sampling. Under this research probabilistic sampling will be used. Sampling size is taken as
30which are employees of ASOS.
Data analysis: This is the process in which analysis is drawn by selecting analytical techniques
so under this research with the help of frequency distribution table quantitative data will be
analysed. .
