This document presents a comprehensive research proposal focusing on the analysis of effective talent management strategies, using TESCO as a case study. The research aims to evaluate the core concepts of talent management, analyze the specific strategies employed by TESCO's HR department, and identify associated challenges. The proposal outlines research objectives, including an examination of literature sources from Ghosh and Ansari, and details the research methodology, including the use of positivism, an inductive approach, and a mixed-methods approach utilizing questionnaires and literature reviews. The research covers the research philosophy, approach, strategy, choice, sampling, data collection methods and instruments, and includes ethical considerations with an ethics approval form. Annexures include a research proposal form and a learner assessment submission and declaration form. The project encompasses activities such as primary and secondary research, data collection, and report writing, and uses a Gantt chart to illustrate the project timeline. This research aims to contribute to a better understanding of how organizations can effectively manage and retain talent for greater success.
