INTRODUCTION
To be successful in business management, there is need to have good communication skills
and management skills which can be used to develop the business performance. Managing a
project and task should be involving strategy, ideas, activities, techniques, and skills that
supports to meet project objectives. Talent management is the continuous process of recruiting,
and selecting the talented people by using own skills and abilities that supports to develop the
organizational performance (Vuong, and Sid, 2020). In each organization human resource
management is playing important role as it identifies the vacant position and select the right
people that can help to managing business and profitability. To understand about this, Sainsbury
has been selected that is second largest chain of supermarket in UK with 16.0% share of
supermarket share. The management understand the business requirement and formulate
effective strategies that can help to develop the business performance. The present report
involves business case involving literature review, aims and objectives and methodology.

To analysis at least two other organisations to see what type of talent management

To focus on areas of good practice to build and support Sainsbury.
Scope: The current project is about talent management which uses by organization for
retaining their staff and getting the work done. The scope of project is wider as it helps to
develop the understanding what strategies should be used by management for increasing business
performance. The researcher will use the their skills and ability to complete the project and
manage each activity.

organization to break down the longer task in smaller. In other words, WBS is the key project
deliverable that uses to organize the team work and manage each work. In relation to current
project a WBS is prepared by project management that supports to complete the task (Hongal,

Gantt chart – In project management Gantt Chart is important as it shows activities and
event that displayed against time. This is a kind of chart that states schedule in which activities
are divided properly and supports to complete the task. A Gantt chart in relation to talent

vacancy identification, recruiting, selection, and placing the right people for developing the
organizational performance. For each organization talent management is important and valuable
as it provides the clear understanding about employees needs and provide them satisfaction

which can help to make feel them comfortable. Human resource management is the one person
who manage the business functions by allocating the work between employees and get the work
done properly which can help to develop the organizational performance. In relation to
Sainsbury, human resource management focuses on talent management as it allocates the work
between employees as per their skills and abilities which can help to develop the organizational
productivity by retaining them.
Research at least two other organisations to see what type of talent management initiatives

relates to human resource management involves attraction, on boarding, development,
engagement, and retaining high performing employees that aims to improve business
