INTRODUCTION
Talent management is related with managing and handling staff members in systematic
and proper manner so that set objectives can be attained in predefined period of time. It is a wide
concept under which several activities of hiring, recruitment, selection, motivation are included
significantly. It is a process which allows organization to achieve competitive edge in market
place (Poirier, Forgues and Staub-French, 2016). The present study is based on Sainsbury which
is a renowned supermarket organization based on UK and offers verities of products & services
to customers across the globe. The present report aims to identify impact of talent management
strategies over satisfaction of employees. It includes aims and objective of study with necessary
project management plan, WBS and Gantt chart for completion of project with set time duration.
Methodology along with appropriate tools & techniques and recommendations have also been
covered in the report. Lastly, it also comprises personal performance review for making
improvement in performance in future period of time.

Significance of study:
The study is important as it is conducted in order to identify impact of talent management
over job satisfaction of employees. Information gathered through study is significant as it will
help in preparing effective strategies for improving productivity of work force. In personal
perspective, it is going to help in enhancing knowledge, skills as well as potential for gaining
success in future period of time.
Literature Review
According to Smallwood, (2019), Talent management aims to hire suitable and talented
people and place them at right position. Here, HR managers prepare specific strategies so that
employees stay with company for longer period of time. It is considered as a crucial activity
which has association with managing and retaining work force and also manages their
performance in an efficient manner. Talent management plays a crucial role in motivating work
force through appropriate methods such as monetary and non monetary ways. In addition to this,
it is also helpful in order to maintain significant relationship between superiors and subordinates
so that company can attain predefined goals.
According to Mesly, ( 2017), talent management put a significant impact over employee
satisfaction by providing them appropriate opportunities of growth and success. Willigness and
optimistic attitude is really important for performing tasks with utmost proficiency. Through
talent management HR managers of Sainsbury stimulate employees for putting their best for
accomplishing assigned task in well defined manner. Training and development is also provided
by company for enhancing job satisfaction of work force.
According to Ryan, (2016), Talent management is a crucial aspect of business under
which a lot of strategies are adopted for attracting talented & competent people. For this purpose,

P2) Project management plan
Project management plan is basically a document that works as a blueprint for
investigator in order to implement research activities in a proper and effective manner. It involve
aspects such as cost,scope, communication, risk, resources and many more. The project
management plan for the present study is given below:
Cost: It is basically the amount which is required in order to conduct the study. It is
important for researcher to develop a budget before starting the project so that overall research
activities is implemented timely and effectively (Yun and et. al., 2016). For the present
investigation, investigator will require dollar 800 for implementing all activities of reserves
Scope: It is an important element that provides description about the scope of research
within the real life and business aspect. The present research is based on talent management that
help company to increase profitability and attain growth which shows the study has high scope.
In addition to this, it also gives new direction to the company which will increase its market
share.
Time: It is undertaken as specific amount of time required in order to finish the project.
The time for every study is selected as per the research activities (Simon, Harms and Schiele,
2019). In context to the present study, researcherwill require around 3 months to work effectively
on every area in order to gain feasible solutions.
Quality: The researcher will maintain quality of investigation by considering all data
from valid and authenticated sites. It helps to draw valid and reliable conclusion and direct the
study in a rightful manner. It is analyzed that researcher gather all data from authenticated
sources and journal articles provided by professionals which shows that the quality of study is
high.

Communication: The implementation of study also needs effective communication
between all associated people. In context to the present story, investigator will make use of
communication medium such as mobile phones, regular based meetings, email and many more in
order to share outcome and activities of research with associated people (O’Neill, 2017). This
help in declining the level of misunderstanding and assist in execution of activities
systematically.
Risk: There are various risks associated to the present investigation such as misuse of
respondent’s data which may impact on the confidentiality. In addition to this, it also impact on
the reliability of investigation in future as participant may ask for claim in future. Apart from
this, there are also other risk such lack of funds, ineffective communication, lack of time and
many more.
Resources: It is important for research Sir to ensure that all the resources available for
conducting this study. For the present investigation is required resources such as land,
manpower, machine, computer system, stationary and many more. All this will help in
attainment of research objectives timely and properly (Joy 2018).
From the above mentioned project management plan, it is determined that all such
aspects of the plan needed to be evaluated by project manager as it help in working
systematically and effectively. It also helps in developing strategies for the same in order to
execute investigation in a rightful manner.
P3) Work Break down structure and Gantt Chart
Work Break structure
Work break down structure is a tool of project management under which the entire
project is divided into smaller components so that project can be managed in proper way. With
this devidation, it is easy to assigned necessary roles and responsibilities to different individuals
who are associated with project. Work break down structure significant assists project manager
in assigning task to team members with an aim to complete the project within predefined time
frame (Rogers and et. al., 2020). It also plays a significant role in reducing down the level of
complexity so that each and every team members can easily understand own roles & duties for
completion of entire project. Without a proper WBS, it is quiet complex to complete different

activities of project in timely manner. For the purpose of current project, a structured WBS is
given below:
Gantt chart:
It is a graphical tool which is used by investigator for completing entire project according to
predefined schedule. This tool is applied for fulfilling different project activities in better manner
with an aim to minimize errors & disruption which occur during project management. Here,
project not only divided in different activities but also time period is also determined for
completion of project in timely manner. It includes starting & ending dates of project along with
roles and responsibilities of different team members. Gantt chart is a significant tool which is
often used by project managers so that project can be complete in proper & systematic way
within predefined period of time (Dupont and Eskerod, 2016). It included schedule, deadlines,
roles and responsibilities, dependencies and more. In this regard, Gantt chart for current project

P4) Primary and Secondary research methods
Primary research: In this information which is gathered by researcher is row and first
hand and contains high reliability as well as authenticity. Main source of primary data collection
is observation, survey, questionnaire etc. Investigator tends to collect primary information with
own efforts without any intervention of outsider parties (Brem and Radziwon, 2017). Primary
methods are helpful in order to get quality in research as it provides highly authentic and reliable
information. But, there is requirement of huge time as well as resources for collecting primary
data. For current research, primary information has been taken out from the employees of
Sainsbury by preparing questionnaire.
Secondary Research: It is concerned with using already available information which can
be easily extracted from different sources. Information which is used in secondary method has
already gathered by some other researcher for meeting with a particular purpose. Hence, there is
requirement to be careful and diligent while using secondary method. Articles, website, journals
are the widely used sources off secondary information. In case of current project, secondary data
has been taken from relevant articles and website. Here secondary information will help
investigator in completing research project in successful manner.
Qualitative method: This method is related with collection and analysis of non numerical
information for attaining research aims and objectives in an efficient manner. Detailed and in
depth information is gathered through this approach by using different sources such as focus
group, interview, case sturdy etc (Carvalho and et. al., 2019). In this, information is collected
through face to face and personal interaction which further helps in terms of getting additional
information for success of research project.
Quantitative method: Here, numerical data and information is gathered as well as
analysed through statistical tools and softwares for bringing reliability and authentication in
research project. It is concerned with application of statistical and mathematical tools which are
likely to provide authentic results.
