RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research Onion
Research methodology is categorised as such process which is used by researcher in
order to develop a path in which aims and objectives of research can be attained. These are
known as the most impactful part of whole the research in which appropriate conclusion can be
drawn and data can be collected in regard-full manner. In this research, research onion
framework is used and the same is elaborated as under:
Research Philosophy: This is defined as such set of principles which is helpful for
researcher in order to develop better understanding as in relation to gaining research
outcomes. In the context of research there are two types of research philosophies such as
pragmatism and Interprivistism (Claus., 2019) . Both of these philosophies are helpful in
analysing the results in significant manner so that to gain differential insight in
appropriate manner. In the aspect of current research Interprivistism and pragmatism both
philosophies are used as these are providing high level of reliability and relevance.
Research Approach: This is regarded as the method which is used within research in
order to execute overall research in appropriate manner. Research approach is providing
detailed information as in context of taking out prominent outcomes out of research. This
is the major process which is followed by researcher in order to analyse detailed
information in appropriate manner. There are two types of research approaches such as
inductive and deductive, these are selected as accordance with need and demand. In the
context of above research deductive and inductive approach are used so that to carry out
research outcomes in significant manner. In this research data is being collected using
such edges in which appropriate outcomes can be examined. With the help of both of
these approaches this will be easier to analyse research outcomes in appropriate manner
along with gaining research results as well.
Research strategy: Research strategy is defined as those methods which are used by
researcher in order to develop basis process of research and to analyse research aims in
significant manner. This is the method in which data will be gathered by researcher so
that research objectives can be attained (Collings, Scullion and Caligiuri Eds., 2018).
