Introduction
Talent management is a concept which helps in improving the performance of the
business so that goals of the business can be achieved effectively it helps increasing the profit of
the business by retaining the employees in the organisation. Talent management also helps in
motivating the employees performance of the employees gets enhanced and growth chances in
the business also gets developed it also helps in career development of the employees. The main
objective of talent management is to recruit, identify and retain the people who help in the
growth of the organisation so that long term survival of the business can take place. Performance
of the business depends on the performance of the employees. There are various strategies which
are planned by the organisation to motivate and retain its employees in the organisation so that
better services can be provided to the customers and revenue of the business can also get
increased. In this report Tesco is chosen for the research on talent management this report
involves project objectives and aims, work breakdown structure, Gantt chart, methodology of
research, reflection and recommendation. Since the 1990s Tesco has expanded its business
across the world due to which overall revenue of the business has also increased. Tesco deals in
various areas such as clothing, books, toys, furniture, software, petrol, internet and telecoms
services. Tesco is considered among the top retailer companies in the world due to high demand
