TASK 2
P4 Small scale research by implementation qualitative and quantitative research
This is regarded as the most essential part of the project under which investigator is
supposed to gather information which is relevant to the research topic (El Masri and Suliman,
2019). Numerous methodologies are being used by researcher in order to get assistance and
cover research in systematic manner. Detailed examination of these strategies are elaborated as
under:
Research philosophy: This part of methodology is referring to procedure by which data
is being gathered, analysed while using qualitative and quantitative information together. In the
context of existing topic positive philosophy is used by researcher in order to gather information
and to evaluate quantitative data type. In order to analyse qualitative data Interpretivisim
philosophy is used. These approaches are requiring higher time and capital as well in order to
attain research objective in sufficient manner (Panackal and Singh, 2016).
Research strategies: There are varied research strategies which can be used by researcher
such as action research, surveys, interviews, case study and many more. These are regarded as
most effective research strategies so in order to conduct proposed research survey and literature
review is being used. Survey is helpful for investigator for collecting information and analyse
primary information. On the other hand, with the help of literature review information can be
gathered in secondary data collection method. Thus in survey and literature review method
research objectives can be attained.
Research choice: This is regarded as the methodologies such as qualitative and
quantitative. These are prominent choice within research by performing investigation,
quantitative research so as to make information useful and to attain research aims. Qualitative
research is helpful in conducting research in valuable way.
Data collection: This is regarded as the process of data collection on a specific topic.
There are two methods which are undertaken in data collection such as primary and secondary
sources. With the help of questionnaire primary data is being collected and for secondary data
