2MULTI PERSPECTIVE ICT PROJECT
Introduction
The main purpose of this paper is to focus on the analysis of the business project of
Tassal. This document will be helping the readers to know more about the three perspectives
of current situation such as the ICT strategy followed by the organization, logistics which is a
core business process of Tassal group and the new enterprise resource integration system
which is incorporated in the system (Shen, Chen and Wang 2016). This paper will also be
guiding the readers to know about the problems faced by the organization and its scope of
improvement.
SWOT analysis of Tassal group
The analysis of this organization is done with the help of a tool known as SWOT. It
stands for Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats. This paper only focusses on the
weakness in the form of problems faced by Tassal group as well as the opportunities which
will be helping the corporation to cope up with those problems.
ICT
Weakness: Based on the three perspectives of the current situation, this company
faces different challenges such as the water pollution caused due to the lack of control over
the delivery of food. It leads to feed wastage and ultimately increases the costing of farming.
The lack of food in water will have a direct negative impact, as the fishes will die out of
malnutrition (Tian and Xu 2015). The other challenges faced by the organization is the
controlling of the underwater environment. The other problem associated with this
perspective is the transportation problems of the sea products. The other important problem

of this corporation is maintaining the perfect temperature of the products during
transportation.
Opportunities: The effective business decision based on appropriate information can
be an ideal scope of improvement regarding this case. The use of IP based sensor platforms
helps in maintaining the perfect underwater environment. All the compositions of water are
managed by the intuit technology (Zhang et al. 2015). The transportation problem and all the
other issue associated with transportation such as maintaining the temperature of the products
during transportation can be resolved using the traceability system incorporated by the
company.
Logistics
Weakness: The main challenges of this perspective of the company is the to maintain
the quality of services of their products such as the quality of the raw materials. Huge
investments are required for this, which is a point of concern for the management of this
organization. Transportation is a huge issue regarding the foreign markets of this corporation
(Hwang and Grant 2016).
Opportunity: The different measures of maintenance of the different kinds of sea
feeds are product processing and warehouse processing which should be done in a more
efficient way. The time period between the processing of the fishes and its delivery to a client
should be shortened in order to preserve the quality of the fishes (Chofreh et al. 2014). The
transportation issue can be further resolved due to the docking transportation mode adopted
by the organization which provides the services directly to the clients from the warehouses.
The different methods of transportation to meet the foreign markets are freighters and
aircrafts.

always linked to other departments such as transportation department therefore every

the corporation is maintained.
Opportunities: In order to maintain the product qualities this organization have a vast
