INTRODUCTION
This report aims to analyse the 3 written pieces on the topic of critical thinking. It is a
way to think beyond the level of own comfort zone and critically appraise every idea through
seeing it’s both positive and negative outcomes. The critical thinking is all about analysing,
applying, synthesising, observation and many more. All these are crucial part of thinking which
makes it broader and actionable (Elder, and Paul, 2020). Hence, this report is going to talk about
the thinking through method, elements of critical thinking, and arguments of debatable issue. All
these three topics also include reflection for the task.

Mind mapping is an issue by using thinking through method
Mind mapping is an effective way to analyse own problems, be ready to develop
solutions. It gives a visual representations of the thoughts, ideas and brainstorming through
which a better conclusion can be drive. It is used in many areas where there are a lot of
complexities and work pressure such as in business, teaching or education. Mind mapping helps
in developing a path towards success through mapping all the journey and follow the same. It
helps in problem solving which is a great skill to achieve success in daily ups and downs whether
at work or personal life (Persky, Medina,. and Castleberry, 2019). Using mind mapping
technique will help in analysing the focus on physical and non-physical aspects which lead to
ascertain that mind mapping will generate possibilities and opportunities to carry out own
thinking. It creates an issue when it uses by thinking through method, as per this an individuals
need to come upon the practical decisions. Basically, it is all about collecting all the accurate
information which could be applicable at practical working. Therefore, it becomes an issue when
mind mapping performs by thinking through methods. As mind mapping generate ideas and
thoughts through observation whereas, thinking through method is all based on the accurate
information and data. An individual would continue to practice on the thinking through method
by working on the research and gathering information and data for the business solutions.
Therefore, mind mapping will be an issue if thinking through method will be applied. In my own
experience, I saw that there is no way to use mind mapping when there Is requirement for actual
data. Observations are not helpful for giving accurate results which might impact on the

solutions. I have done a lot of research in which all the data will be gathers through stepwise
procedure by formulating questions, talking to people, comparison and many more.
Apply the standards and elements of critical thinking
Critical thinking has many knowledge and application of the standards which focuses on
the various aspects, as critical thinking is about observing, formulating, analysing the ideas in
both positive and negative aspects. It involves doubts and judgements to find better solution by
eliminating negative aspects. It also indulges testing and experimenting the ideas to check its
accuracy and reliability (Machete, and Turpin, 2020). Therefore, it maintains a standard of
higher order thinking skills which is based on some intellectual standards and elements that are
described below:
Purpose: The thinking is based on a purpose for what an individual think about anything.
When they have a clearly defined purpose, the thinking will also be clear and accurate.
Question: when an individual’s start thinking they come up with a lot of issue and
question for which, critical thinking take place. Questions makes the thinking in broader sense
which will eliminate doubts and confusions.
Issues: These issues are a part of questions which brings doubts and obstacles in thinking.
Information: In order to think critically, it is necessary to have a lot of information for
which an individual will think about.
Concepts: It is important to have all the concepts to figure out the information and
thinking aspects.
Assumptions: It is a part of critical thinking which involves assumptions that sets a bases
for the whole thinking concept.
Implications: after all the above, an individual will know about the implications for the
thinking.
Point of view: It is also important to think by setting a positive point of view in which an
individual looks for the value and importance of the topic.
The standards of critical thinking include clarity. Accuracy, precision, relevance, depth and
significance of what we are thinking (Cáceres, Nussbaum, and Ortiz, 2020). I applying these
elements and standards while analysing solutions for the business related problems. These
aspects get carry forward to other team and individuals so, it must be Clearly presented and out
of any confusion.

In the modern dynamic market, fashion industry is taking rise due to new upcoming trends and
customer demands for the new designs. This give rise to fast fashion due to which there are many
negative impact has seen in the environment. the companies bringing nee designs and fashion
clothing in market without finishing the last stock. it has impact on environmental footprints and
rise in wastage (Changwong, Sukkamart, and Sisan, 2018). Manufacturing of clothes requires a
lot of resources and energy which may destroy them in the future. It contains chemical, water
consumption and labour usage. Fast fashion is the reason for high carbon emissions that must be
lower down. Therefore, fast fashion should not be banned as it will stop the growth of economy
but it must be done in a sustainable way. The companies need to invest in reducing hazardous
impact of chemical, water wastage and energy to fulfil society needs and protect environment.

CONCLUSION
The report has concluded that, critical thinking is required in many aspects of life to take
better Decisions. It requires standards and elements in which clarity, purpose, point of view and
information plays vital role. Therefore, the report has identified a debatable discussion about the
fast fashion which analysed that, it should be done in maximum limits by reducing waste and
carbon footprints.
