INTRODUCTION
Mapping is defined as representation of process, system, procedure, structure etc which
depicts arrangements addition to relationships between its distinct components as well as traces
flows of materials, personnel, energy and information. It helps an individual to simplify
complicated information, identify and acquire life skills, provides safety to work in competition
and connects with memories (Greenhood, 2018). To understand mapping, Airdri Limited is
selected which is hand dryer manufacturer that have creative team for nurturing ideas in the
business.
The present assessment is based on role of teacher at workplace and other areas. It is
prepared in 5 sections in which Section 1 is related to role, working aspects and others of teacher
with other professionals. Section 2 is about laws, codes or practice along with regulations that
affects the role of teacher. Section 3 includes information for quality assurance and importance
of it in training. Section 5 includes law and resources along with IP rights, copyright and many
more. The last section highlights about minimum core and ways to consider minimum core in
planning stage, development stage and delivery stage.

1. Working with other professionals
Teacher is the person who assists learners in acquiring knowledge, virtue addition to
competence. The major aim of a teacher is to help students as much as possible so that the
learners have best platforms for attaining learning objectives. In contrary, a teacher performs
various roles as per their actual job requirements in order to ensure that their students are on the
path of learning (Wang, Hou and Wu, 2017). Following are some other roles that a person needs
to collaborate or interact with as tutor:
Inside the organisation: In an organisation, there are various roles that are required to
collaborate with as tutor or teacher. In context to Airdri Limited, teacher plays significant role in
making new employee learn about the manufacturing and operations of hand dryers. Following
are the roles which are necessary to interact with as teacher inside Airdri Limited:
Admin: Admin inside organisation have to register new people or learners. Role of
admin are to enhance abilities of staff, develop administration procedures, plan and
control workings etc. In Airdri Limited, it is important for admin to have interaction with

as tutors so that all the information related to number of people which needs training is
discussed and tutor have complete information about them.
Assessor: Assessor generally marks workings that are learned and performed by
organisational people (Berry and Dieterle, 2016). The role of assessor is to mark
performances and submit reports to tutor under which an employee is working. Inside
Airdri Limited, assessor are required to collaborate with as teachers for providing them
marks that an employee have achieved after attending the learning and training sessions.
Outside the organisation: It is not necessary that roles inside the company are required to
collaborate with as teacher. There are various other roles that are necessary to interact with as a
tutor. In context to Airdri Limited, the roles are as follows:
External assessor: This role has no access to organisational team and resources. External
users are required to collaborate with as tutor of Airdri Limited so that necessary information for
market requirements are discussed and teachers makes decision to make changes in learning of
employees.
Customers: Customers have role of making maximum purchase and sharing experiences
with company in Airdri Limited, it is necessary to have effective interaction of customer with as
teacher so that the experiences gained by customers are in knowledge to teacher and accordingly,
learning of employees are influenced to great manner.
There are various things including type of information, expectations of learners, resources
involved, pertaining situation etc that are required by an individual to consider while setting
boundaries about the ways they get involved for sharing (Mackiewicz and Thompson, 2018). All
these differs as per the professionals a person works on as one professional may not have any
relevance of it while other is widely related to the information or subject matter that is shared
among the two professionals for bring them together.
2. Legal or regulatory arena
Legislations or regulatory arena are the enactment of laws which are approved in exercise
of allotted legislative function (Breyer and Et. Al., 2017). The role of teacher is affected by
certain laws or code or practices which are as summarised:
Health and safety at Work act, 2005: The acts states that when teachers do not consider
health and safety of learners then it affects their role as assessor or tutor. It is because students or
learners required proper heath as well as safe learning environment for achieving their learning

goals (Health and Safety at work act. 2005. 2020). For example, assessor of Airdri Limited gives
marks to learning without considering pertaining safe workplace and heath then it negatively

Data protection act, 1998: The act protects data of students, staff and school (Data
Protection Act, 1998. 2020). According to the legislation, if teachers fails in managing or
protecting confidential information of learners then students do not believe in them and this

Limited, it is important for tutor to safeguard or protect each and every information about the
employees that impacts positively on their role.
Equality act, 2010: The act protects people from discrimination, victimisation and other
unfairness in activities (Equality Act, 2010. 2019). The legislation have make things easier for
teachers to understand as well as tackle inequalities at learning place. It assist teachers or
assessors of Airdri Limited to perform their roles through avoiding discrimination addition to
promoting equality that supports agenda to improve attainment together with progress of learners
regardless of backgrounds or pertaining circumstances resulting positive influences on their
roles.
In business, there are various laws and regulations that are to be concerned while working
with human beings (Bolino and Grant, 2016). However, the major law is Equality act, 2015. For
example, Airdri Limited is full of human beings in which it is important to consider Equality Act
in business so to promote fairness and elimination on any type of discrimination at workplace.
In present world, different organisations such as manufacturing, retail, e-commerce based
organisations care more for teaching addition to assessment. For example, Airdri Limited is a
manufacturing company that majorly cares about is the ways new people or old employees learns
new things and improve their knowledge. They monitor training providers through using on the
job and off the job training methods that provides then information about learners needs for
training that meet expectations of company.
The ways or methods that College or training providers uses are performance evaluation
methods, questionnaire methods and other learning methods to prepare for meeting expectations
of companies, such as Airdri Limited that is involved in managing assessment, teaching and
learning about how to handle operations and improving delivery of products.

3. Quality assurance
In context to teaching and training, quality assurance is defined as a organized reassess of
instructive provisions for maintaining along with improving its efficiency, equity and hence
forth. It includes school external evaluation, self evaluation addition to evaluation of school
leaders, teachers and students (Do, Pham and Nguyen, 2017). In case with Airdri Limited,
quality assurance plays crucial aspect in teaching and training people so that they prevent
mistakes as well as defects which manufacturing hand dryers and avoiding issues at the time of
delivering the commodities to customers.
The structure of quality management in the industry varies from level to level. In very top
level, centralised quality management structure is used in which corporate quality team manages

assurance ensures that trainees must work together in order to improve processes, systems,

Human resources: It is commonly recognised resources kind who provide and complete
work in particular field. These are also named as human capital which that works very hard in a
business (Kekely and Korenek, 2017). In Airdri Limited, the legislation that is considered of
affects developing human resources is Equality act as when human are treated equally in
company then they makes effective efficiency and huge production that influences profitability
of entity.
Physical resources: These are essential resources which are majorly used for the purpose
of creating value offering along with value propositions to the prospective customers of
company. As Airdri Limited is popular business in which physical resources including
equipments, manufacturing plants, buildings, distribution network etc plays significant role. The
legislation that affects physical resource in the business is data protection act as if one of the data
is misplaced or not protected then the resources lacks usefulness at workplace.

incorporate various teaching methods like white board, discussion, PowerPoint, role play, etc.
With this, learners are engaged in delivering products with core skills and meeting targets.

From the report, it is concluded that mapping is significant for teachers and learners for
encourage creativity, learning and memorising content, integrating with emerging methods etc.
Some different roles which an individual is required to interact with as teacher are internal
assessor, admins, external assessor and customer. Regulatory arena that can affect role of teacher
includes Health and safety act, 2015, Data protection act, 2012 and Equality act, 2015. Quality
assurance is crucial to devise situations or conditions to facilitate mobility of learners and
supporting mutual recognition in training and teaching. Resources are classified as human
resources, financial resources, physical resources and intellectual resources. Copyright are
different from trademarks or patents in many manner.
