REFLECTION
The most intriguing part of the study was that the author claim that teaching is the most
stressful situation in the appraise and the situation is less likely to change in the future. The
author example that the teacher does not have limited autonomy in the workplace was very
disheartening to learn because independence in work is one of the prime driving force for the
growth and the development of a teacher (Schonert-Reichl, 2017). The second challenging part
was, of course, dealing with stress in the job. The high level of stress has actually resulted in
emotional exhaustion and depersonalization in the job.
The first strategy I will use is improving my mindfulness to build by social and emotional
awareness. This will help me in backing up emotional management and reduce stress and focus
the mind (Schonert-Reichl, 2017). For example when the teacher misbehaves in the classroom,
then the mindful awareness would help me to attend to what is exactly happening, and the cause
of the child misbehaves and react accordingly. The strategy that can be used is positivity which
can help in improving the quality of the lectures delivered in the class as it will improve the
classroom environment and in the management of the class issues effectively. For example in the
case of the physical aggression on the isues of toys in the student I would not try to react
impulsely in the case and would rather see this through mindfulness I would try to cause of the
aggression and would try to make the student understand about the situation and will tell them to
usefulness of grou activity and will indulge them in group avtivity so that they would be able to
understand the usefulness of coordinated learing (Schonert-Reichl, 2017). Another example
could if the student is facing communication barrier I would try to implement positivity in the
class and will read out my lesson loud as the student can participate in the learning and will
encourage group discussion so that the student can come of out her lonliness and mix up with her
classmate and build her community. The aggressive behaviour of the student can be discouraged

by incorporating mindfulness among them. This can be done through encouragement telling
them to avoid power struggle while playing the superhero game.
I want to learn about self awareness which will help me to understand the emtions abd
thoughts and how to influence the behaviour other. The other thing I want to learn about is the
self management which will help me to regulate my own emotions and behaviours in different
situations and working towards the goal. Seld maangemnt will also help in the self regulation of
the mental process and will herlp me to plan and implement and multiple task successfully in the
class. I will learn this through extensive research on the subjects and implementing this in real-
life situations and in classroom situations. Th correct mindset is also required along with
cooperative learning will help in achieving this.
