Executive Summary:
As per the perspective of the Middleboro community hospital and taking in to account the
actions that has been taken up by the organization had brought about some positive effects. The
pilot study had provided with a statistical data which shows that the psychotic patients are facing
problem in the health care organization as they have to wait for a long period of time, in the
emergency department. The care that is mainly volume based has not been able to generate any
positive outcomes. There are high ranked officials in the department wants to change the
approach of the health care professionals towards the patient care and take action on the aspects
of reduction of costs. The management of the health care setting monitors the progression and
the corporate plans are updated at the regular interval (Armony et al., 2015). The administration
of the organization had extended the term for the appointment and has lessened the board
numbers. The main reason for thus alteration is to curtail the medication cost and provision of a
high quality of care (Langabeer & Helton, 2015). The organization emphasizes on the reduction
of the inpatient capacity and appoints ting skilled physicians. The management also focuses
emphasizes on using modern technologies to ensure a proper healthcare. It has been found that
application of a volume based care had decreased the staff productivity and thus was unable to
maintain a financial balance. The organizations have tried to deliver telecommunication service
at a low cost which had added an extra benefit. Betterment in the communication service
ensures good communication between the staffs and the patient. An information system that
would maintain all the financial records regarding the patient care has been developed. In order
to obtain the medical supplies at low cost the organization can associate with a national chain. It
reduces the cost by 8 %. A care that is value based provides patient with a safe and quality care
at a sensible price (Matta et al., 2014).Appointing highly skilled physicians can obviously bring

about better outcomes in patient and can assist the patient in taking appropriate decisions
regarding their health. It is essential to assess the patient’s condition and the vital signs to
provide a care that have long term effects. The healthcare staffs have to be more rational
regarding the value based care provided by the organization.
The organization has intended to consult a firm in order to get the confirmation on the single
residency room for the inpatients. It can be expected that implementation of a five to seven years
plan regarding the single residential room for the inpatients can provide an added advantage to
the organization over others. The given strategy would not bring about any increase in the
expenses, nor will it alter the staff status. It has been reported that the hospital admission of the
inpatients is gradually reducing the average patient staying time is also remaining stable. The
data shows that a single room for the inpatients can be created by converting some of the bigger
rooms. For the rural development, the organization is reported to have been building a critical
care health organization and the officials have also suggested in developing a service that is off
campus and would operate with other providers of the medical service (Barnes, Golden, & Price,
2013).
