I attain a high interest for becoming a teacher. This is because; I possess a passion for the
subject named ‘English literature’. Perusing teaching career will give me an opportunity to
enhance my subject learning. It will act as a means to follow my passion. Secondly, I wish to be
an inspiring person. Through my knowledge and hard work in the teaching profession, I want to
set an example to the future generation. Lastly, its benefits are also one of the reasons to aim for
becoming a teacher. These may include salary benefits, less working hours, high job security and
future opportunities.
From my perspective, I attain various characteristics of becoming an idol teacher. Firstly,
I attain a decent knowledge in my subject interest. Additionally, I possess a strong and pleasant
personality. This will assist me in gaining the attention of the students and engaging them
towards their study. I am a friendly person and I have the ability to develop relationship with the
individuals. Moreover, I attain high dedication for teaching. Moreover, I am a patient and highly
caring person. I am an optimistic person and it will aid me in inspiring my students towards their
career.
As per my knowledge, I suppose that Gamification, Problem based learning and High
Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) will be best beneficial to offer in schools. Gamification will assist
in engaging the students and raising their interest towards learning. It will help in gaining the
attention of the students towards the academic topics (Barth, 2012). Initiating Problem based
learning in the schools will highly befit the student. It will provide practical knowledge. Thus, it
will aid the students in solving and tackling their real life problems. Lastly, developing HOTS
will enhance the thinking capacity of the students. This will also enable creative thinking among
the students (Webb, 2012).
Before sharing a lesson with the students, it is highly essential to re-read the required
lesson. This practice should be applied prior to preparation of each lesson. This will directly
boost self-confidence. This will also assist in sharing error free and detailed learning with the
students. Despite course books, I suppose that one should always consider gaining knowledge
from additional media as well. Implementing this practice will provide dual benefits. Firstly, it
will upgrade my knowledge and understanding with respect to subject. Secondly, it will assists in
providing updated and real life examples based on subject matter.

In order to address diversity, I will share the deeper meaning of diversity with my
students. I will share the key benefits and positive aspects of attaining diversity in classroom.
This practice will support me in developing a classroom with high interpersonal relation among
the students. Additionally, I will only allocate study material that can be understood by each
student. I will lay prior attention in not hindering the cultural belief of any particular religion. I
will not treat any student on the basis his/her colour, caste, creed, religion and gender. Thus, I
will address every student with equality. Moreover, I will try to meet the diverse learning needs
of each student.
According to me, developing similar skills among all students is highly challenging for
me. This is because every student differs in his/her abilities, knowledge level, retaining power,
memory and experience. Thus, as an instructor it is my duty to upgrade the subject knowledge of
each student. However, as a teacher I can only guide the students with respect to subject
knowledge. Thus, it becomes challenging to develop satisfactory academic knowledge within
mentally weak students.
Similar to other teachers, I wish to attain a positive outcome from each student. For me
teaching is not only a profession but it is a means to enlighten the life of other individuals. I do
not aim for high number of distinctions in my subject. However, I wish that each of my students
would attain a satisfactory grading. Moreover, I wish that each of my students would reach to
greater heights of success. From my experience in Teacher Education Program, I wish that each
passing year would enhance my academic knowledge. Further, I aspire to gain position that will
enhance my respect in the Teacher Education Program.
As per my opinion, an ideal classroom situation is attained when I will be successful in
maintain cordial relation with my student. Through this situation, student will be able to freely
share their doubts and queries with the subject matter. Further, they will not hesitate to talk about
their personal life problems that are affecting their studies. Thus, it will give me chance to know
my students and solve their problems. Additionally, it will assist in gaining their full attention
towards the subject. Secondly, an ideal classroom is attained when the students duly respect and
follow the instructions given by their teacher. This will enable in raising efficient students in the
classroom.
