INTRODUCTION
The aim of this report is to analyse the different types of practices of teaching in the area
of health and safety. It has been observed that the practice of teaching plays a very important role
for the student as well as for the teachers (Leinhardt, 2019). The following report is based on the
field of health and safety. By using all the proper resources and planning the practices of
teaching has to be delivered. Setting the effective programme this not only help in grabbing the
attention of the student but also help in delivering the lecture session properly. This ultimately
increase the knowledge and skill of the student which helps them in achieving all the set
objectives. This report covers the aim of education and training with their philosophical issues
and evaluate the structure and planning for the learning programme. This report also
demonstrates that how the requirement of student is fulfilled by planning and preparation. Focus
has been paid on the use of the advance digital technologies while teaching for Health and safety.
TASK 1
Key aims of training and education in the specialised field.
It has been observed that high level of studies has been required in the field of Health and
Safety. In teaching, education as well as training plays a very important role. This helps the
individual in getting proper guidance and knowledge about the own specialised area. My
specialised area is Health and safety and in order to deliver the lecture in the university I need
proper knowledge and experience related to the health and safety. The teacher of the health and
safety need to give a wide description which is related to the healthy food product, exercise and,
many more. For this they have to analyse all the principles, theories and promotional aspects
which is related health and safety, this provides them huge growth. The key role of teacher of
the health and safety is to take all lectures in a very interesting manner, analyse the student
performance and solve their problem.
Analyse all the philosophical issues in relation to the education and training in the
specialised area
These issues are being considered as the most vital factors which paid focus on the
learning, attitude, perceptions and behaviour of the students. The theory of humanism define that
the teacher has to paid focus on the human behaviour which make aware them about the integrity

of people (Senthamarai, 2018). It has been believing that a good teacher is that person who not
only look for the culture but also look for the perception of the students. The behaviour of a
teacher is depended upon the action which is done by them. In education and training the self-
actualisation need of the teacher cause the philosophical issues. Due to the different or good
types of skills or culture or backgrounds of the people these issues comprise in the field of health
and safety. According to the theory the learning of the student is based on the concept and
behaviour which is adopt by them. It has been shown that the issues which are comprises in the
health and safety is only because of the cognitive skills, culture of the classroom, people
backgrounds and others measures. This is totally related to the philosophical issues which are
assumed by the theory of burner that the learning of the student is based on its behaviour and
how they acquire, learn and understand the concept.
TASK 2
Aims and structure of the main qualifications.
Aims: -
The main aim is to fit a specific body in the field of health and safety. There are different
types of bodies which are available in the United Kingdom which served to the learner. Some of
these has been discussed below: -
 Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) 1974
 Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (MHSWR) 1999.
Another objective of the main qualification is to acknowledge all the level of
competencies and skills set which have to be possess by a learner in order to know the course of
health and safety in better way.
Structure:
Learning units: - units are not similar to understand the learning. The chapter are too
different form one qualification and to another. In order to gain the knowledge for the field of
health and safety proper training need to be taken (Kessler, 2018).
Learning styles: - for different types of qualification there are different types of learning.
For the field of health and safety, the learner should focus on those style which help in improving
the theoretical as well as piratical concept.

Aims and structure of the learning programmes.
Syllabus requirements: - the main aim behind learning programme is to fulfil all the
need which have been discussed in the syllabus. Brainstorming session have to be attend by the
learner for fulfilling these requirements.
Establishing of learner's needs: -setting objective and goals for the learner is the
another aims of the learning programme. If an individual has an ability to adopt the skill which is
required in the field of Health and safety then this assists them in growing their career. Case
study as well as group presentation analysis help in improving the knowledge of learner.
Structure: -
Time–Frame: -structure have to be follow by all the staff members and student. In the
field of health and safety, the teacher must have to ensure that the students have to take at least
25-hour sessions in a weak.
Types of learning: - this is all about adopting different types of skills and knowledge. In
the field of Health and safety, student have to paid focus on the deep learning and also paid focus
on the all the concepts and principles.
Explain own approach to planning and preparation.
Planning:
 Set the goals: in this step, aims as well as needs of learning need to be established for the
students. This can be done with the help of proper interview and mock test (Batanero,
2020). With the help of this tool the actual position of the student can be determine which
help in establishing the goals. By being a teacher of health and safety I develop the health
and safety programme in such a manner so that the students understand the importance of
remain healthy in their life and along with this I also ensure that all the students take
participate in these programme.
 Set goals and time to achieve them: - in this stage, objective related to the learning has
been established. This helps the student in gaining better knowledge and all the concept
related to health and safety. Time can be set according to the ability of student. Being a
teacher of health and safety I set some standard for the students so that they can get the
develop some extra knowledge about the health and safety and along with this I ensure
that they attain the objectives within 1 or 2 month according to their abilities.
Preparation:

 Unique resources: - the teacher of Health and safety must utilize unique resources in
order to provide learning to the student. Online library, search engines and many more
can be used for learning. Being a teacher of health and safety the videos as well as power
point presentation are used by me in order to develop the knowledge of students. The
power point presentation are used by me in the starting of the lesson for introducing the
topic and by mixing audio with visual assist the students in gaining the knowledge
effectively.
 Learning and skills needs: the teacher of health and safety must have to prepare
himself to use all the concepts and approaches. As a health and safety teacher, they can
suggest their student some healthy food and exercise, so that they experience some new
learning. Being a teacher of health and safety I would like to give proper health as well as
diet chart to my students and suggest some exercise to them so that they remain always
healthy.

Planning and preparation of a learning programme.
Being a marketing teacher, the own approach to planning and preparation is discussed below:
 Equity and diversity: - the planning and preparation of learning programme is designed
with the aim of equality and diversity in the field of health and safety. Digital resources
must be used by the teacher which express the value of colour, class gender and many
more. Activities like brainstorming must be apply the teacher of health and safety.
 Staff input: teachers must have to join the session to teach about the health and safety to
the learner(Ingersoll, Merrill and Stuckey, 2018). This helps the learner to get the
knowledge from the different teachers with different opinion and concepts.
Determine how own approach to the planning and preparation takes consideration of key

As a health and safety specialist, there are immense number of issues faced in the
learning sessions. To overcome from these approaches has been discussed below: -

 Learning and teaching: - being a Health and safety teacher more focus have to paid on
learner-centric approach rather than teacher centric approach. Session is to be take one by
one.
 Specific technique:- training has been given to the student by appointing third
consultant. With the help of this, student can effectively understand the about the specific
concept and principle related to the health and safety.

Teaching is being considered as the most important practice which take place in the
universities as well as educational institute. An individual participates in these processes from
the starting of their schooling journey (Puteri and Nurcahyo, 2018). With the use of technology,
the assignment which have been given in the school can be carry out in proper manner. Internet
technology plays an important role in order to meet all the needs of individual. After the arisen of
pandemic classes has been taken by the student through zoom applications and by other
software. In the field of health and safety digital technologies assist the teacher to show the
presentation in guiding the student at home. Knowledge in regarding to use these technologies
must be necessary which ultimately save the time and cost.
Analyse the inclusiveness of own use of teaching and learning resources in a specialist area
Effective resources are required in teaching in terms of teaching aids. In own area of
specialization, the resources of teaching play a very important role. In learning and development
of the student these resources play a very important role as this help in grasp the knowledge. By
using effective technology like internet, software applications assist in assigning the task. By
learning all the practical principle and concept the learner of health and safety can develop the
skill and knowledge. In addition to this, technologies like social media also play a very important
role in the connecting all the student which help in solving quarries, doubts and many more in a
proper manner. Therefore, a base has been developed for the student with the help of these
practices within the teaching environment.
Task 5
Liaise with others within a specialist area to develop own practice
Liaison teacher plays a very important role with in the universities. Support has been
provided by these teachers as an expert. These act as a mediator between the teacher and the

student. This also play an important role in boasting the knowledge of peers and mentors.
Technical member of IOSH take care in education and training.
These experts not only help me to guide the learner but also help me in improving my
knowledge in my own field. They thought me the importance of health and safety and the
importance of liaisons for taking valuable referral and judgement (Wright, Paredes and Stuckey,
2019). Effective lesson plans are required to prepare in the field of hospitality. In the field of
health and safety individual learn from experience and other working criteria. This experience in
collage assist in dealing with all the complex situation in proper manner.
Review the impact of liaison with other teachers and trainers within own specialist area on
own practice
Liaison teaches is very good for everyone as it helps in growing new skill and knowledge in the
teaching. This is all about self-assessment and peer review which give rise to own skill and
learning. It is very helpful for the teacher in order to fulfil the gap between learning and
delivering the topics.
Key areas have been developed by liaison procedures. This not only improve the
environment of the class but also help in presenting the aims. An important role is being played
by good relation in education and training as it helps in delivering to right information to the
student (Senthamarai, 2018). With the help of burner theory knowledge related to the practices
are developed by students. The practices of teaching are made easy by the level of liaison as this
help in knowing the information possess by a health and safety teacher.
Task 6
Review the effectiveness of own knowledge and skills in a specialist area
Immense amount of competition has been increased in the field of health and safety because of
technology and awareness about the health. In order to become successful in this area, an
individual required proper skill and knowledge which have been discussed below: -
Health and safety required some sort of skills and knowledge. In this education skill
development is always been needed. Psychosocial and interpersonal skill are very important. In
addition to this decision making, communication and many more are also required. Competition
has been increased because of the dynamic nature of this field (Roistika, 2021). Along with this
experience also plays an important role in the field of teaching as it help in conveying the right
thoughts to the student.
Identify own strengths and areas for improvement in relation to practice in a specialist
area
In an individual there are certain strength and weakness. Every individual must require capability
to overcome from the weakness. The sector of health and safety is very big and this area requires
valuable knowledge. In the field of health and safety my most important strengths are effective
decision making and full knowledge of the healthy products(Harborow, et.al., 2021). These all

are my strength which help me to face the competition. Moreover, to this, some several
weaknesses also possess by me like innovative thinking and adaption of new technology. These
strengths act as a strong point in delivering the knowledge and training to the learner and also
help in self-learning. Different types of opportunities have been grabbed by me to evolve my
health and safety skill.
Identify opportunities to improve and update own knowledge and skills in a specialist area
In the field of Health and safety, the opportunity like Safety Representative, Safety Officer,
Safety Manager, Safety Environmentalist and Safety Consultant are available. The
opportunities can be grabbed by taking part in the key curriculum activity within the
university. Being a teacher, I could involve in training as well as liaison career
programmes in order to carry out all the practices of teaching in proper manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that specific training as well as key aim has
been required into own area of teaching. It is very important for a teacher to learn first and
the spread the knowledge to their student. So, the learner has to become capable to learn all
the things which have been thought. Own strength as we as weak areas has been conclude in
this report. Decision making and full knowledge about the healthy product help in provide
the best knowledge to the student which ultimately make their future better.
