INTRODUCTION
There are various types of legislations, regulatory requirements and codes of
practice which are applied in education and training. Thus, it is important
that their importance can be judged so that the attainment of the overall
goals and objectives can be done.

Role- The role chosen for this presentation is teacher. Teachers play a very important role
in a student’s life who bring out the best in them. They make and inspire them to have great
knowledge, values, tradition and teach them the ways to resolve the challenges that a
student come across.
Responsibilities- teachers have number of responsibilities towards the student it and the
educational institutions in which they are employed. They set example by following the
responsibilities.

Legislation and regulations- legal provisions are important for ensuring
the safety and security as well as protection of people's rights. Teachers
should carry their activities within the lawful boundaries which is
possible by following number of legislations enacted by UK government.
Personal boundaries- these refer to the rules and limitations for the
teachers to be followed while behaving towards others.

Professional boundaries- these boundaries are set by the
organization which enjoy all that the teachers fulfill the
criteria at all the time. These have been explained below:
• Job description- it describes the job position of teacher
in the educational institution. Every person enrolling for
the job of teacher should go through the job description
before applying for the same.

• Management structures- there is a set hierarchy where some of the teachers
may be called senior, middle and junior. The one with good experience
may have more responsibilities then the junior ones. Also the breakdown
of syllabus and allotment of classes could be different in each case.
• Lines of communication- there are different modes of communication
which can be used by teachers for or conveying their messages clearly to
the students without leaving a scope of ambiguity. It is up to the teacher to
choose the most effective mode of communication.

CONCLUSION
From the above presentation, it can be concluded that the use of a wide
range of strategies and methods has to be made in order to ensure that the
teaching can be made better. Therefore it is important that the modern
teachers are able to make the use of these strategies and methods so that the
attainment of a wide range of goals and objectives can be done in a right
manner.
