INTRODUCTION
Teaching and learning are becoming necessary in today's time period as it is
becoming an important part of the economy (Borg and Drange, 2019). It is necessary for the
Teachers to make sure that they should provide inclusive learning and teaching so that each
in every individual in the classroom is able to get knowledge and skills from the teachers.
This report will discuss the needs and requirements which is necessary for a teacher in order
to establish and maintain inclusive teaching and learning.
MAIN BODY
TASK A
(1.1) analyse own role and responsibilities in education and training
The main role of the teacher helps the learner as much as possible and also provides
the best platform to achieve their learning objective (Marques, Gresse von Wangenheim and
Hauck, 2020). As a teacher, they include various roles Assessor, Helper, Friend, and
technician. A teacher, accept all the responsibility which ensures the learning activity of the
student. Teachers fined the need of the learner and also they give the suitable path to achieve
success in the chosen subject. After giving the path teacher plan the schedule for the learner
and the teacher sue various methods to teach the learner. They use the projection method and
audio-video method for the learner because it creates interest in the classroom. When teachers
give the best way of teaching after this they evaluate the learner and ask the question to
learner about the subject related. It helps the teacher to assess whether the learner learns from
the method or not.
(1.3) analyse the relationships and boundaries between the teaching role and other
professional roles
The teaching role is a very high potential role for every teacher so they make the
boundaries between teacher and learners. The teachers become more professional when they
teach the learner. Professionalism is a necessity for the teacher (Hakim, Ritonga and Susanti,
2020). Class become effective when the teacher is professional they only teach about their
subject. It creates interest in the learner because they do not think about the talk. The
boundaries are set by teachers because they know the welfare of the learner and also they
know the learner is connected only to the teaching subject. Teachers' bigger reasonability is
that they create the atmosphere so the learner is not distracted it is very essential for the

learner. A teacher also set a boundary for professionalism every student learn only those
matter which enhances the learning. Teacher knows the need of the learner so they work
according to them. Professionalism is help the teacher to make the boundaries for the learner
it helps the learner so they think only about their subject matter.
(2.2) analyse the role and use of initial and diagnostic assessment
Initial assessment occurs when the learning starts. It is the beginning learning
programme. This assessment is used in starting by the educator for assessing the learner's
education level. It helps the educators to understand the learner level. So they use this
assessment before the start of the program. It is the identifying tool for the teacher they
understand the need of the learner (Retnawati and et.al., 2018). This is the initial behaviour of
the start of a programme. Diagnostic assessment is multiple measures to identify the strength
and needs of the learner. By the use of this assessment, teachers provide instruction to
learning needs. It is an assessment tool so the teacher collects data from students to know
about the topic. It is a set of written multiple questions which help the teacher for assessment
of the learner. This assessment also tells about the student's strengths, weaknesses,
knowledge, and skill. It is the pre-evaluation tool for the learner which allows the teacher to
know about the student learning on the subject.
(1.4) include a description of points of referral to meet the needs of learners
The teaching includes various stages for the underrating of the need of the student.
They use the various stages to evaluate student learning. The teacher uses the first stage of
identifying the need. The teacher plans the programme according to the need of the student.
The teacher changes the teaching pattern for the learner (Collin and Brotcorne, 2019). When
the teacher knows to identify the need of the learner then the teacher plan according to the
need. This will help the student to avail the various knowledge from the teacher. When the
teacher gives the subject-related knowledge after the teacher assesses and evaluates the
learner as per the subject knowledge given them. The teacher uses this tool to understand the
learner's knowledge and what they add to the knowledge which helps the student to enhance
their knowledge. The teacher gives the printed notes, and presentation to increase the
knowledge about their topic. Points of referrals are crucial for the teacher to use but they need
to make sure that they should use only when their students require additional intervention. It
includes referral for discipline issues, special education evolution and counselling services.

(1.2) include a summary of key aspects of legislation, requirements and codes of practice
The legislation and code of practice the necessary for every teacher it teaches the
teacher how they behave. The code of conduct is a very necessary tool for the teacher. They
give guidance to the teacher to take responsibility for the teaching. It helps also the teacher no
student alleged the teacher. The code of practice is the rule for the teacher on how they
behave and how they tolerate the class. This is a very necessary tool for saving the teacher
from the student and also for the student to save from the teacher. This practice also guides
the teaching. The teacher uses this and assesses the student which evaluates the learning need
of the student. By the use of this tool, the teacher reviews the student and understands the
student where do a mistake. This is an effective tool for the teacher it gives the very positive
guidance for the teacher to understand the need of leaner. It is identified that there is some
important legislation such as the health and safety act, the equality and diversity act, the
safeguarding vulnerable group act, the data protection Act, etc. These are the important
activities which are necessary to undertake by the teacher in order to achieve their goals and
objectives.
TASK B
(2.1) why it is important to identify and meet the individual needs of learners
Every teacher must understand the learner ought to acquire equal hope or also the
future aspirations from the learning. The teacher must know that they meet the various leaner
in than teaching and every learner are different from one (Fujita, 2020). Their grasping power
is different for every student. Some student is fast learner some e is average and some is
below average so the teacher has the power of patience. Know the situation of the student-
teacher to identify the meet the need of the learner without any discrimination. The teacher
should develop the quality in teaching and development the talents. The teacher also makes
an interesting class which helps the teacher to evaluate the students learning and they do not
distract from an obstacle. The teacher plans effective classroom activities for the student
which helps full every student and create the interest in the class. The teacher effectively
organising the classroom and every child has the equal opportunity to learn things.
(3.3) how your own planning meets the individual needs of learners
When the teacher understands the need of the student then they make the material
which helps the student to learn the various things. In this respect, the teacher makes a very
interesting classroom which creates student learning. Every teacher understands the student
Document Page
need so they work according to them (Erarslan, 2021). Teacher makes the printed notes and
gives the various knowledge according to audio-video aids which increases the knowledge of
the subject. If the teacher gives the effort to increase the knowledge of the student it changes
the life of the student. The student never fears about the subject and also they present
anywhere with the great confidence. When teacher understand the student's need they give
the right direction to the student and the student achieve their goal. It is very important for the
Teachers to understand that they are required to make a plan of teaching than they will be
able to meet the individual needs of learners. It is not a new concept because when the
individual teacher is making a plan then they are able to provide systematic learning.
(3.4) ways in which teaching and learning plans can be adapted
The teacher develops the baseline for the student means that teacher creates the
learning goal for every student. Teachers give the different ways to learn the content it helps
the student to learn the knowledge for a long duration (Chen, Park and Breazeal,2020).
Creating a variety of activity for the learner help the learner increases the cognitive power
and increases the various skills. The teacher uses different project options in the classroom.
The teacher also gives the various works which is best for the student to learn. Organise the
flexible group in the classroom. The topic presents in the classroom in a problematic manner
and set up a different station.
(4.1) why it is important to promote appropriate behaviour and respect for others
Promote the appropriate behaviour and respect in the class. It is very important to
create a suitable environment for the learner. Establishing the ground rules in the class where
the student does not create any mistakes in front of the teacher (Iqbal, Siddiqie and Mazid,
2021). The teacher established the rules for the student both are not disrespectful to each
other. Both are created respect and anti-social behaviour in the classroom which helps to
make a peaceful environment and both respect each other. It may also be useful to record the
misbehaving it help their teacher to set an example in front of every student if they talk like
this so they punish by the administration. Now a day’s seems that many groups of people
make the nose in the class and they create disturbance in the classroom. So that teacher calls
the administration they take serious action for the student.
(4.2) ways to promote equality and value diversity
Equality is given equal opportunity to every student it decreases the discrimination in
the class and promotes diversity in the class because every student comes from different

religions, ages, and colours. Equality and diversity are said that every person is different and
has an equal right to education (Wan Hassan and et.al., 2020). The equality right is passed by
the parliament in 2010 it gives the equal right to any individual not discriminate against any
disability. To promote equality and diversity in the classroom teacher create various activities
in the classroom. This increases the equal opportunity for individuals and teachers making the
group a creative collaboration among the student. The teacher also introduces the various
activities in the classroom that create interest in the class. The teacher plans the lesson
according to the need of the student learning.
(6.1) the purposes and types of assessment used in education and training
The purpose of the various assessments is to evaluate the learner's learning skills.
Assessment helps the student to learn knowledge for a long time. The teacher checks the
leaner they attentively listen to all the knowledge in class very carefully. The assessment is
the evaluating tool which increases the knowledge of the learner. Teachers use this tool in
various places. The initial assessment is used in the statement. The teacher uses this tool to
understand the student level (Rose, 2018). After this teacher uses the diagnostic tool which
helps the teacher to evaluate the student is listen to the lecture attentively they ask questions
after the class. The teacher also uses the summative and formative assessment to know the
learner's knowledge and they can go to the next class if the student is adapting the previous
knowledge of the class.
TASK C
(2.3) used methods of initial and diagnostic assessment
The initial assessment is found to be an important process which is necessary for each
and every learner and they should undertake it whenever they are starting a new course of
study. It is imperative for the Teachers that they need to check learners should be on the
correct goes and they should support them when they are choosing any course. It provides
support to the student when they are choosing a course by the teachers. It is conducted before
any choice of course and that's why it is known as an initial assessment (Brown and et.al.,
2020). The diagnostic assessment is considered also an important process which occurs after
the initial assessment. This assessment is mainly used for highlighting key areas. It includes
the extra support provided by a teacher. In teaching, methods of initial and diagnostic
assessment are necessary because it provides an understanding to the individual for choosing
the best course for them. The initial assessment is used for the purpose of identifying the

needs and the coast which is best for their interest. Diagnostic assessment is also conducted
before starting the course but it is after selection of the course.
(2.4) recorded learners’ individual learning goals
As an English teacher, it becomes necessary for me to record the learners' individual
learning goals so that I am able to merge them with my daily practices and that students are
able to achieve their goals and objectives. It is very important for the purpose of integrate the
individual goal with a common goal of teaching and learning (Gurven, Davison and Kraft,
2020). It helps me to learn what the requirements of students are and what I need to deliver.
(3.1) devised a scheme of work in accordance with internal and external requirements
A scheme of work is found to be a document which is able to summarise the whole
content of a course with a logical and organised teaching and assessment. A scheme of work
is found to be an important tool which is basically organised and prepared for effective
teaching in learning (Rodriguez and et.al., 2018). I always considered 5 important things in
the scheme of work such as user name or class, number of weeks, the period covered,
objectives of the lesson, number of lessons, syllabus topics and teaching aids needed. In order
to prepare a scheme of work I always considered these elements.
(3.2) design teaching and learning plans
In order to design effective teaching in learning time, I always focused on the
individual goals and needs because the main objective of my teaching is to provide all the
support to the learners and should be able to achieve their individual goals and objectives. In
addition to this, one more important element which is always considered in the designing of
teaching and learning plan is curriculum requirement.
(3.5) identified opportunities for learners to provide feedback to inform inclusive practice
One thing that is necessary is to make sure the teachers that learning practice can only
be effective when the teachers and the learners are communicating effectively. This is the
main reason that the learning environment should be interactive which can be possible with
the help of encouraging the students so that they can provide feedback (Pelletier and et.al.,
2022) That's why it is necessary to look for an opportunity for learners so that they are able to
provide feedback in order to inform and inclusive practice. Feedback is playing an important
role in the inclusive practice as it engaged more and more learners in the learning
environment. A teacher requires to identify the opportunities for the learner to provide
feedback so that they are able to inform inclusive practice. This is because when a feedback
Document Page
session is going on in the classroom then it creates an environment where the teacher and
students are able to communicate with each other so it will result in inclusive learning.
(4.3) established and sustained a safe, inclusive learning environment
An inclusive learning environment is necessary for achieving the goals and objectives
of the teaching and it is very important for teachers to make sure that day should establish an
inclusive learning environment and maintain that environment all the time. For that purpose,
they need to encourage students for more and more conversations. It becomes necessary to
establish a sustained and safe inclusive learning environment. This can be possible by making
the classroom interactive and proper engagement of students in the topics which I covered
during the sessions of English.
(5.4) use inclusive teaching and learning approaches and resources, including technologies
It is becoming very important to use inclusive learning and teaching approaches so
that the teachers are able to make the individual needs of learners. Technology is playing an
important role in order to establish and maintaining inclusive teaching and learning
environment (Zubkov, 2020). It is important to note that by using projectors and PowerPoint
presentations, it is found that learners are taken more interest in the lectures which also
enables them to focus on the learning and teaching and make an inclusive learning
environment.
(5.5) demonstrated ways to promote equality and value diversity
I know that it is my duty to promote equality and value diversity in the teaching and
learning environment and that's why I also looking for ways which help me to do the activity.
I teach English and I always try to provide some motivating stories which help to inspire
students that they should leave their life with equality as well as accept diversity and value
them. I also try to include each and every student in my classroom and in this way I value
diversity because my classroom has lots of students who come from different backgrounds
and religions.
(5.6) adapted teaching and learning approaches and resources
It is necessary for a teacher to adopt new teaching and learning approaches which help
them to meet the individual needs of learners (Cooper and et.al., 2019). They should always
be ready to accept new updated technologies because in this process technology is playing a
very important role. Every day the use of technology in the schools and education
departments is increasing which can see that every institution is not taking an online exam.

After a pandemic, it becomes more important and that's why a teacher should not be
disallowed technologies and other teaching and learning approaches as they need to adopt
them.
(5.7) communicated with learners and learning professionals
Communication is the base and it is required in each type of organisation whether it is
educational or non-educational. It becomes more important in the education department
because teachers need to communicate with the learning professionals as well as learners so
that they are able to meet the individual learning needs. Without communication how
teachers are able to know the needs of learners and transfer their information and knowledge
related to the subject matter to the learners.
(6.3) used types and methods of assessment, including peer and self-assessment
Assessment is paying a very important role in the schools and education department
because it helps to check the progress of students. For that purpose, peer and self-assessment
are very important and it is crucial for a teacher to involve learners in the assessments. Peer
assessments are helpful in the classroom when one student is taking the assignment of other
students (Medeiros, Ramalho and Falcão, 2018). Self-assessment is also very helpful. It is
necessary for a teacher that we should meet the individual needs of learners and also enables
the learners that should produce assessment which needs to be valid, authenticate and
reliable.
(6.4) used questioning and feedback to contribute to the assessment process
Questioning and feedback is a very important role in the assessment process because
it also helps to check the progress of students. It is necessary to include feedback and
questioning by teachers which helps them to complete the assessment process.
(6.5) recorded the outcomes of assessments
After taking an assessment, now it becomes very important for teachers to record the
outcomes which they get from the assessments (Poloju and Naidu, 2020). It is really very
helpful for meeting the internal as well as external requirements. Recording of the outcomes
is also helpful for providing the guidance to the students that they need to focus on a subject
which has fewer marks and grades.
(6.6) communicated assessment information to other professionals
Teachers need to communicate assessment information to other professionals as well
so that other professionals also guide the teachers that how they can improve the
Document Page
performances of office students and be able to achieve the learner's individual needs and
wants (Petronzi and Petronzi, 2020). But it is necessary for a teacher that they should share
the assessment information with the other professionals only when they are taking an interest
in the learner's achievement.
(7.2) applied minimum core elements in planning, delivering and assessing inclusive teaching
and learning
The minimum core element should be applied when the teacher is planning for
inclusive teaching and learning. It is also very crucial for them to deliver and assess inclusive
teaching and learning (Müller and Zalkow, 2019). Minimum core elements refer to the
minimum qualifications and skills which are necessary to have in the teacher such as
knowledge of specialisation subject, teaching skills, etc.
TASK D
(5.1) the effectiveness of teaching and learning; and learning approaches
It is very important for me to analyse the factors of teaching and learning which
means I need to focus on analysing my own learning approaches which I used in the
classroom (Cahyati, Parmawati and Atmawidjaja, 2019). For that purpose, I need to analyse
my learning style which should be matched with the learners than only they are able to
achieve their individual goals and objectives. I also need to evaluate the type of motivation
which I used for the students. In addition to this, I also need to evaluate teaching and learning
methods.
(5.2) the benefits and limitations of communication methods and media
There are many types of communication methods and media which I used in the
classroom (Tun, 2019). For example, I used verbally as well as non-verbal communication
methods which I found to be very important but it is necessary to make sure by me that my
communication should be not limited to these methods because they are now very old. I also
use presentation style in order to communicate my topic to the students. In addition to this, I
always focus on making an interactive learning environment and that's why I used media and
information and communication technology which helps me to encourage this practice.
(5.3 & 6.2) the effectiveness of resources and assessment methods
The assessment methods and resources which I used in order to meet the individual
needs of learners are very important to evaluate in order to identify the effectiveness. I have a
specialisation area in English and that's why I always make sure that students are learning
